But, I think with time, Balotelli can become a better player than Pato in the future. His biggest advantage is his size and power, which can make a lot of difference in the modern game

He is much and much smarter than Balotelli.
Pato keeps his calm and doesn't make any stupid tackles like Balotelli does.
If you see Balotelli's body launguage you could say that he doesn't want to play but Pato is energetic and want to score goals and give assists.

Yes his a dick. But an extremely talented one.
Pato is superior in his dribbling, pace, flair and overall professionalism, but Balo has this aura about him that just oozes class. Balo is also superior in his strength, balance, shooting, heading.
With that said though, Id rather have Pato on my team just for the fact that Balo never seems to put in any effort.

I also think Pato was only hyped up because he was Brazilian - happens to most young brazilian players, whether it'd be unfortunate or not.

This kid, for all his talent, is immensely immature. I must say if this circus continues we'd just have to freeze him out for the rest of the season.
Balotelli - Pato swap anyone?

Pato is the more experienced, mature and reliable of the two. Balotelli still shows a childish, rebellious streak.
Right now, Pato > Balotelli. But that could change in a few years time.

The taste was sweeter
The nights of wonder
With friends surrounded

Balotelli hasn't even done anything yet.
Balotelli is a quality striker on fifa 10 manager mode though, he's one of the best young strikers on the game

What has Pato done that Balotelli hasn't this season? Balotelli won the Serie A, UEFA Champions League and Coppa Italia if i'm not mistaken?
Balotelli and Pato are good on FIFA 10! Balotelli is stronger which makes it easier to play with him. I think ability wise in real life they are both part of the next generation of potential world class forwards. But Balotelli must change his approach to football and how he portrays his life before he can progress. However it is important to consider that Balotelli had a very unstable childhood and it could still be affecting him now.
