I think in the last decade or so... Buffon, Cech, Van der Sar, or Casillas....
But i really attention to the younger goalkeepers...
Craig Gordon isnt that young but he was at fine form until his injury last season
I really like the way Rene Adler plays... i can say with confidence that he is the next Oliver Kahn
David De Gea is headed for a good career, Europa League title at age 19
Igor Akinfeev, Memo Ochoa, Hugo Lloris... etc

And also add Manuel Neuer. The Schalke goalkeeper. One incredible young goalkeeper. Man Utd should get him as Van Der Sar's successor.

Fergie is reportedly interested in both German keepers, Neuer and Rene Adler... but the thing is, are they willing to spend the money?

Are u kidding me mate ? :D Mandanda is amazing !! He has amazing reflex, and jumping. The best goalie from L1 now.

Steve Mandanda is a good keeper, take nothing away from him... but the only thing he lacks is experience, and sometimes he chokes in big matches... however he is only 25, give him a couple of more years

Over the past decade definitely Buffon.

Actually I would say Buffon is among the very best (if not the best) goalkeepers in the history of the game.

His command of the box and positioning is remarkable and means he has to rely less on reflexes than other goalies (e.g. Casillas).
