Well the season is starting to hot up at the top and at the bottom, but another thing that intrigues me is the battle for the fourth Champions League spot. After the last few games Liverpool have put themselves in a difficult position and Tottenham look set to take advantage. But Villa must never be discounted and City are a massive threat. Outsiders Everton could mount a late charge too as they look really good at the moment. Arteta has made a real difference.

In my opinion this is how it will finish

Tottenham
Man City
Liverpool
Villa
Everton

Any Thoughts?

I've been really surprised at the increase in quality this season and anyone out of these teams is now capable of taking points off the top three which wasn't the case in years gone by

I think the fourth spot is now really the biggest prize.

Yeah the financial benefits from the Champions League are so important to teams nowadays. Especially Liverpoool, who probably need it more than anybody. They have quite an easy run in compared to their rivals. It really is so tight I just can't call it now.

Villa will be hurting after their thrashing and City have a few games in hand and I'm still not discounting Everton who are growing better every game so they will be disappointed with their weekend draw.

I'd love to say that Liverpool will take number four. But I'm extremely doubtful, now I just hope that Tottenham take it and not City.

It really is Citys to lose. But Liverpool have had their chances against teams like Wigan and Fulham.
