They are really better than the last year. More sober, especially the third shirt. The only negative point is the logo KIA...

It's an exclusive info from fcgb.net (article here) because the club will present them officially tomorrow.

For the news transfers, Triaud refused offers from Lyon for Gourcuff. They wanted to include players they don't want any longer as Boumsong or Källström ! The Bordeaux president confirmed on L'Equipe.fr (here) that the situation for Diarra and Gourcuff is on stand-by. For the Chamakh substitute, he revealed that the Trézéguet rumor is not true and that he has young players on loan return and a striker as Cavenaghi who didn't play very much under Laurent Blanc.

One article on Varrault who can be a possible change for Chalmé or Trémoulinas here.

Blanc signed for two years with the french national team with a lot of work...

Chamakh, who was in South Africa as TF1 consultant, talked with Gourcuff after the last match against the host country and confirmed at RTL (and in Sud-Ouest here) that there was problems between the Bordeaux playmaker and some other players without giving their names. It's in totally contradiction with the first reaction of Henry, Evra and Abidal last friday who said that the team was united...

I don't like the Scapular on the home kit; it seems to high, but these kit are better than last year.

I don't like the colour skeam of the alternative.

Can we trust Cavenaghi for a full season? will he return to form? I hope we purchase another striker, I don't think he's dependable on his own for a full season.

Even his father, Christian, said that he was having problems with the other players and that he felt alone. I don't believe those three players.

I've got a preference for the third kit, mostly without the ugly KIA logo. But it's better than the last season...

For the striker, I'm sure that we'll buy a striker but Triaud seems to take his time.

Obviously we can't believe players that Evra or Henry. It's clear that the squad was not united and that Gourcuff wasn't appreciated by some players. I hope Toulalan, Lloris, Gourcuff himself and some others will give their version.

The rose/white UCL kit from last year was my favourite of that season. I agree with you though, I don't like KIA as our shirt sponsor. the simplicity of third makes it attractive.

I wonder if the will go along with Evra and Herny's story and keep quite about everything or if they will tell the truth. I hope they have the courage to talk about everything honestly.

I hope too but I can't imagine Blanc, who has a big confidence in Gourcuff, takes again Ribéry in the team.

It's time to sleep, ciao Planus and see you soon.

Ca y est ! Back to the training today for the Girondins : 25 players excepted the internationals (Carrasso, Diarra, Gourcuff and Planus) and with all the 7 players on loan return (Ayité, Diabaté, Ducasse, Lasne, Marange, Olimpa and Saunier). Tigana said when he signed that he wants to see all the players before making choices.

One article on the Tigana's ambition this season : "to win something." There's also an interview of our new coach on France Football here.

Presentation and confirmation for the new kits

Some transfers news, or rather speculations :
- Loïc Rémy (Nice) is the priority for Tigana according to France Football website which announced a complete article in his paper edition tomorrow on the Girondins transfers.
- Foued Kadir (Valenciennes) is near to join Bordeaux according to several website as this one.
- the club is following Hatem Ben Arfa (Marseille) as Manchester UTD...
- and the best for the end : Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise will come to Bordeaux in July for the first national presentation of "Night and Day"

Thank you, Franck!

I like what he says about Trezeguet. I wouldn't mind having him for two season. He's a reliable goal scorer which I think we need to stay competitive and beat teams like Lyon and Marseille.

Can we afford Remy? He's talented, but his progression has really stalled at Nice. I don't know how good he can get but he would be an interesting player.

I wouldn't mind Hatem, tbh. He, however, has to show more consistency, and his attitude is a bit of a concern for me. A rumour like Marveaux would please me.

I don't get it... Is it the fact that the presentation is taking place in bordeaux? Bordelais don't like movies? :P

I think he'll stay at Juventus according italian newspapers.

Yes, for the moment, it's only rumors and Tigana said today he wants one or two players more. Rémy is a good player, but can he success in a big team as Bordeaux ? For Ben Arfa, I don't think he's got his place at Bordeaux.

Yes, the film is supposed to be projected in France first at Bordeaux. And if there is Cameron Diaz...

Sure, I think he can succeed; he's got the natural athletic ability to do so. What I'm a bit sceptical about is that he hasn't had any high level games, and if we were to make Europe next season he may struggle. After 24-years a lot of players seem to go into the 'experience gathering stage' and are no longer in the 'development stage'. He may never reach his full potential. He also doesn't strike me as an very intelligent player. That being said, he's a good player that may be capable of scoring 12-18 goals per season if he plays as a striker constantly.

Yeah, I don't see Ben Arfa coming.

Everyone goes crazy?! Your going to meet her??!?!

According to Sud-Ouest today, we have to sell Diarra for example in order to buy Rémy. Marseille and mostly Deschamps wants him (price : 8M€) but Diarra don't want to go to Marseille. He prefers to join a foreign club as Manchester City who seems to be very interested.

Ben Arfa won't come to Bordeaux : Triaud said "no". OUF !!! Bobô too don't join the Girondins.

Cavenaghi wants to stay even if italian side Udinese is interested by him.

There's a rumor about Tomas Necid but Triaud said that he don't know him...

For Cameron Diaz, I don't think so because there's can be some jealous

Like me

Bellion(4) + Gouffran(4) = Diarra(8)

I don't want to sell Diarra :( I hope the rumours about Man City are only speculation. It would be better to sell Gourcuff but I'm afraid that is very very unlikely. When we sell Diarra we would still have to replace him, which would cost a couple million also.

I read his interview yesterday. I'm glad he wants to stay; he can be a very good player. Do you think he'll score as many goals as 2007/08 and 2008/09?

His stats are similar to Chamakh, but he plays in an inferior league. How much is he? ...ummm, Maybe. He still young. Is Trezeguet our priority now that Remy doesn't like much of an option.

Salut !

Back after some special days, the last of the school year. Today, the holidays are beginning. Now, go for a new job...

According to lequipe.fr, Bordeaux will make an offer for Rémy, probably more than 12M€ ! It can mean that Bordeaux is sure to sell Diarra or Gourcuff, because I don't know where M6 will take the money.

But I saw worst today : Gourcuff wants to play at Lyon ! But it's Bernard Lacombe who said that, not the player himself. They wants Gourcuff but Triaud said that he won't sell him at OL. So they say that the player wants to come, even if it's not true.

M6 better have the money! 12M euros is a bit much, but Nice is a bit greedy... I like the player, though. He can be good.

It will be hard to sell Gourcuff, I think, other than to Lyon, which is impossible! How many years has Lacombe played in BDX and he's acting like Aulas?

I also hear that Ben Arfa can come?

Yesterday, I was a little freaked out when I read that West Ham had made an offer of 30M, but it was a mistake, today they confirmed 13M in instalments. I think Nice want the money for Remy upfront, and I think I read that he is not very keen on moving to West Ham. Who do you prefer Gameiro or Remy?

If negotiations fail with Nice we'll go for Gameiro who is a little cheaper and no body is going for him. Deschamps already said no.

We have also been linked to Corchia and Matsui.

Salut,

Yes, I saw that ! Nice refused West Ham bid because the english side wants to spread the payments.

But it's the first time that I see Bordeaux being so active during the summer transfers window. For summarize :

- Rémy (Nice) is the priority of Tigana. The club wants to sign the player quickly even if Triaud said today that Bordeaux can't pay more than 13M€.
- if the deal is not possible, the other solution in order to replace Chamakh is Gameiro from Lorient (I like him, he's better than Rémy and was french topscorer last year behind Niang with 17 goals in 35 appearances). As you've said, it seems that he won't join Marseille.
- according to L'Equipe today, Bordeaux is on Matsui, who made a good World Cup with Japan. He's between Bordeaux and spanish side Deportivo la Corogne.
- nothing serious for Trézéguet and Ben Arfa whose names were cited some days ago.
- Sertic will probably stay with us even if Lens wants him on loan.

A good article from Sud-Ouest on Bordeaux preparation here.
Posted Image

I saw the first training sessions on Girondins TV : there's a good ambiance. The notable change is that Tigana is coaching the team alongside Michel Pavon. They are both with the players. The tactics is for the first, the training and the game animation for the second. The physical working is for Bédouet.

Tigana brings rigor on and off the pitch. For example, he asked to the players to respect the hours. He established the scale of the fines and don't laugh with that. He'll see all the players and make his choices during the preparation.
