laugh.gif

This one made me laugh because the only reason he's there is because Gremio rejected an offer from Chelsea for him. The kid's 15 bloody years old, so how he can get ahead of the likes of Marcelo, Bendtner, Denilson, Higuain etc etc is beyond me. It just shows its a poorly researched list.
Krkessantüero
Wow. No Messi. Wow.

Messi is 20, and not a Teenager

Heard of most of the players on the list Adu isn't 18 eventhough it says that on his passport wink.gif. Adu was shithouse in the MLS he has been playing quite well at benifica and at the u21s he was very good. Altidore is a good player for his age (17 i think) maybe he could have crept on to the list.

Isn't Guilherme the 18 year old striker not 15?
CowSimão
Nice to see Di Maria and Coentrao on the list at least.
_________
Sergio Tejera shouldn't be on the list. He's not even the 50th most talented teenager at our club, let alone the world (ok, I exaggerate, but there's seriously a good number of teenagers better than him that we have)

How Sinclair isn't on this list is beyond me, too.
Pupesh
Ah yes - Toni Kroos. He IS meant to be the new leader of Bayern and Germany smile.gif
Krkessantüero
Richards and Mata are 20.
AdebaYOMOMMA
Rubbish list. Nice to see Vela though
PazzaInter
World Soccer magazine is rubbish

Oh yeah, my mistake. I was talking about the Gremio 15 year old.

The list is still very inaccurate though. I mean, if they insist on putting Spain U17 playera there, then why isn't Camacho there? And why is Tejera there? Strange.
Bub.
Surprised Maxi Moralez isnt there, how do they even determine these lists?
Edwardo
At least they didn't forget to add Banega and Merida. biggrin.gif
Bub.
Just saw that there is a South African on that list laugh.gif Kermit Erasmus, Who he is i have no idea!
ferrariboy21
This was probably released for FM08 guide biggrin.gif
Wengermania
442 magazine is the best
Carlo Gambino

Altho one notable absentee was Mario Balotelli..

World Soccer magazine is rubbish

I actually like world soccer more than 4-4-2. They have a good variety of writers spaning over the whole footballing world.
Shalrie
Adu and Altidore deserve to be on that list. I might be bias, bt their performances at the Youth World Cup justified that. And 4-4-2 is far superior to World Soccer.
Bob Loblaw
Lucas. How isn't he on the list? Or is he too old?
Gino7
How is Higuain not on this list? Altidore? SINCLAIR??

Some of these guys i've never even heard of..Probably South American up and comers.
cristiano*seven*heaven
Nicolas Millan from Colo Colo, chile.
Zidaneisgod
alexandre pato from milan is a genious imo and he will be number 9 of national team of brasil
Red Carbon
Well, I have to admit that list is missing a few important names, but I still really enjoy World Soccer. For me, 442 is more about the interviews and photos, but I really enjoy the articles from World Soccer.
losches1992
why isn't Maldini up there ?
The Ledge
Ok i think Pato is an exciting prospect but come on people. i watch a hell of alot of footy and i hav seen him a few times so i doubt the majority of people who talk about pato who dont work in football or watch hours a day have seen him and Youtube doesnt count. Anyone can make a video of a player and put the best bits in and post it up there.

lets look at the facts he is 18 right and he hasnt plaid a lick of european footy and less than one season in Brazil. Roooney at that age was banging them in and if mr Pato doesnt know Rooney maybe he knows Luis Nazário de Lima. The brazilian who came to Europe through the back door no1 talked about him and he signed for psv when he was 17 and scored 42 goals in 46 games. Of course i am talking about Ronaldo if u didnt know.

untill i see pato playing against 1st teams like inter, real madrid, Roma, Valencia, Arsenal, Bayern i cant really say he is amazing. i have seen him in junior comps and reserve games and he was great but that was against modestly talented opposition.

Christian Maldini is only 12 years old, not a teenager yet.
Tomasson11
Hmm.. Seems wierd that Nicklas Bendtner from Arsenal isn't on this list huh.gif
ColdLife13
What about Sotiris Ninis?(Panathinaikos/Greece) thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif thumbsdownsmileyanim.gif
Aces_Wild
I think these lists are always going to be inaccurate to most people; you'll never get the perfect list of the 50 most exciting teenagers in football, as everyone will have their favourite youngsters; thats just the way it is. wink.gif

That said, I think this list is OK; there's no-one on there i'd say is a particularly unpromising talent, so well done World Soccer. smile.gif

It does say most exciting, not the best. He may have the potential to be better than them all.

You know i don't think Walcott is gonna be good. We'll see what happens though his only asset is his speed or thats how I see it
