^you got a weird color for cheap or you have an old boot you no longer like. Besides black is a classy color.

Here are my konstukts and legends.
I really like my konstrukts, they are great. Some of the color on the sole has gone away but thats ok, the upper still is pristine.

The legend blackouts look class, you've done as good a job as sushi did worshippy.gif
MUFC 17
those blackouts look raw!

i love the legends

hey

need new shoes, they should be light, not clumspy (prefreing nike). had the vapors II...but i also like the look of the tunits, but dont know if they are good..
Mazz
imo the .7s are good.
.8s i haven't tryed.
i have read that light and good boots are adipures and vapor 4s.

r9nigol

The majoritys opinion is that theyre aesthetically unpleasing (theyre ugly), theyre heavy, theyre uncomfortable and not worth the price you pay. But therell probably be some people here that have had good experiences with them too though
arivanjj
yes... i read comments on some other sites too... and they generally have a negative view on it. sad.gif

thanks for your responses smile.gif
arivanjj

Q: What's the difference (other than price) between the Nike Total 90 Lasers and the Nike Total 90 Strikes? Is there a big difference in quality because I don't plan to buy the Lasers because of cost.

And are both good for crossing (accuracy, height and curl/side of the foot) and dribbling? I know they are classified as having a powerful shot, but I play on the wing on the pitch and wondered if I'd have close control and an effective cross If I wore the Nike Total 90 Strike boot.

Q: Can you play with Firm Ground boots on wet muddy ground, and can you play with Soft Ground boots on quite firm surface. Does it affect your playing, because I wear SG on all grounds, and I was wondering if I should get FG ones????
Radcleat
I used to have Strikes and I found a pair of Lasers for cheap, so I upgraded. The microfiber is thin compared to the thicker synthetic of the strike, which makes it fit a little better, but other than that I don't notice anything really different. The Lasers are maybe a little more fitting/comfortable due to the material.

As far as performance, I don't believe in the boot having a whole lot to do with it. It's all in the player. The only thing the Laser does is creates the placebo effect with those T90 rings that help you "put it where you want it." The boot doesn't make the player... so you won't become Rooney just by lacing on a pair of these suckers.

I would switch those... use SG for wet muddy ground and HG on firm surfaces. I have no idea why you would wear SG on firm surfaces and FG on muddy ground. That doesn't make sense to me unless you really liked the boots.

I would get a pair of HG boots for the firm surface because the cleats are not as long/high as FG cleats and you'll find that when your cleats put you too high off the surface you'll be more prone to ankle or leg injury. If the only part of the boot that is touching the ground are the cleats, you are probably going to get hurt.
I'd recommend using the correct boot for the right pitch type.

What radcleat said, youre asking for trouble if you play on firm grounds with SGs. Playing FGs on muddy/soft ground will result in you getting no traction and slipping all over the place

I think you can get away with playing with FG boots on a muddy surface, you might slip a bit but it should be managable. You cant play with SG boots on firm or hard surfaces though, you'll end up hurting yourself.
Panna_King
Thanks a lot guys, its because on our pitch, our ground is mostly muddy, and on some occasions it is hard and dry so I don't really want to spend more money on another pair of boots. thumbsup.gif
robocop
I wear f30.7 firmgrounds on muddy pitches and have fine traction. But then again, the studs on them are long as hell
Panna_King
If I use firm ground boots on muddy and wet pitches, would I slip around a lot?
Mazz
some boots have bigger studs that the others.
it really matters what boots do you want.
Pompeyboy
I'm looking for some sizing information on the Vapor IV's.

Any help is appreciated.

Dude are you serious? You just asked that a couple of posts before and i gave you an answer laugh.gif
robocop
Silver, you'll need to let us know the other boots you've worn before so we can let you know the sizes we got the IV's in compared to the past boots you've worn

Fair enough.

I have worn an 8 in Copa Mundial and the same in Puma V1.06.
Lockdown
Just out of interest, how long did your v1s last you before they died?
Sundell #21
I would go for the same in vapors because I had V1.06 K in size 9 and the same in vapor IV and they both fit me perfectly
Pompeyboy
Thanks jacksundell.

I had my V1.06 for around half a season before they splt.
robocop
^ They lasted that long? Mine lasted 3 weeks. 3 Games and one practice, = death

Did you take them back to the store for a refund/exchange/credit?

No, they were pretty worn. You can get them for around half price now.

Does wearing your boots in the shower help them "shrink" any? If so, could someone tell me the right way to do this so that I don't fuck up my boots? Thanks. Also, is there any way that I could soften up my hard-ass Legends besides leather food? Thanks Again!
stevensthfc
My friend works in lillywhites and he's getting me some adipures today but I don't what size to get. I'm an 8 in vapor III and an 8.5 in f50. What size do u think would fit me best? Thanks

Radcleat
At my local Sports Authority I found a pair of what I can identify as either Nike Talaria III's or Nike Steam III's. They're on clearance for $40 and I'd like to have them as a beater cleat, it sounds like a great deal, except it would be a better deal if I knew what they were exactly...

SO my Q is: What is the difference between talarias and steams? What should I look for? I don't buy Nike's usually so I can't tell the difference when I see em. Thanks!
robocop
The steams have a black piece of material on the heel. Easiest way to tell I think
SebaJDeAn74
