Yeah I was extremely disappointed with the vamps on my abs. And Adam, have you tried out your legends yet? And if you have, mind doing a quick review on them?

Yeah Adam, I was a bit surprised how nice a job the leather food did on my Pulses. I don't apply it all that often, but defiantly worth the buy.

I'm planning to buy some turfs. But before I buy them I would want to know how are they. Does it effect your shooting or touch negatively? Mundial teams seem good, does anybody have experience of them? Thanks for answers

rub some vaseline on your sock where your big toe is....it should let it slide around and create less friction

Anyone has the Nike First Touch Trainers?
I'm planning to buy a pair, but i can't try them previously in a store, so i have to buy them online. Are these Regular fit? Even if they are regular fit, i'm quite concerned because this is the first time i buy a pair of Nike trainers, so... I'm 10US in Vapor III. Would be ok if i get them in size US9.5?

Thats quite a hard question to answer considering Laser II's are not out yet. However, if the Lasers II's keep up the same reputation as the Laser I's I think the Laser's would edge it . Although I am planning on getting a pair of Powerswerves but only because I change the type of my boot every season

I have a question directed to .8 owners (I know theres not that many but despite all the talk im intrested). Those of you who are using .6 and .7 components with the .8 upper, anything you could tell me? I know Adam's opinion but every one has different feet etc. and im just trying to identify the problems. Im thinking about the Purple/gold .8's and ive liked the .6's and .7's but I'm not sure for this model. Also could i just buy a .8 sockliner and use that? Would that help comfort wise? Replies are much appreciated.

ALEX408

I'd say they are fairly the same.
But you get a longer warranty with Legend IIs. So I'd get those instead!
---
Also, are Vapor IIs that much more narrower than the Vapor IIIs?
And what's the main difference between Vapor II and IIIs?
I heard that the IIs are lighter than the IIIs and IVs? Is this true?
Are the sole-plates in the Vapor IIs more durable than the IIIs? (Because my back studs on my Vapor IIIs tore tore off after about 5 months)
Thanks!

May 15 2008, 04:34 PM
No their not that much narrower, but the 3's are longer. My size 11 ii's fit better than my size 11 3's.
The material and insole's are the biggest differences imo. Also that the 3s become softer, but the ii's touch is better I feel.
Yes they are lighter than both.
I've heard of peoples sole plates cracking in half. Mine are 2 years old and have had no problems though. But as the boot sits in the warehouse, with no wear, it will become stiff, and probably crack easily.. I read that somewhere on this forum..

Thanks! Because I'm really really tempted to by some Chrome/Photo Blue Vapor IIs @ $120+Shipping or a pair of Argon Blue/Black Vapor IIIs $130+Shipping. It's either get some classy lightweight boots that could maybe cause some uknown blisters (?) with no 2 year warranty vs. a boot I already know inside and out with known blister problems but I know that the studs will eventually rip, but it has a 2 year warranty...I just can't pick
robocop
May 16 2008, 10:33 AM
I think you had a faulty pair of 3's. Mine have lasted a year, and their just starting to split. If I we're you I'd get the Argons if worried about the warranty. If that doesn't matter, get the 2s. The 2's are one of my favorite boots.

Hey all,
I'm about to get some new cleats, the first I've had in years. I will be ordering online, as I live in a small city and have size 13 feet (a bad combo). My only frame of reference is a pair of cheap Nike cleats that my brother had. They were size 13 and fit perfectly. I can't have them too tight, because I have a bump on my foot that leaves me in pain if I do, but hopefully with some good quality cleats I will get some molding.
So here are my questions:
Does the Nike sizing stay the same across the line? I'm looking specifically at the Total 90 Supremacy, the Total 90 III's and the Mercurial Vapours (Also, which of these three has the most tongue padding? It hurts a little to strap down right onto my bump, so if I could get any cushion at all, it would be great).
Also, how does Adidas compare in terms of fit? I would prefer to buy Adidas but have no real size reference. My brother has a pair of size 12 Adidas, and I can get my foot in them, but they are far too tight. I don't know whether to go with 12.5 or 12 (any suggestions?)
Finally, I just stumbled across this ebay site and was wondering if it is legit:

Yes, stick with size 11!
If the K-Leather feels a bit too tight on you, the K-Leather will mold better to your foot than Synthetic material. Trust me, I love my K-Leather Lasers!

I don't want to bump my own question, but I think I'm about to pull the trigger on the Supremacies. Do they fit the same as most other Nike cleats? And also, I'm a fairly casual player (I play hard, but infrequently, and not in a league or anything). I will probably play intra-murals at uni next year, and I'm a fast sprinter who like to shoot the ball and play a more offensive midfield position (sprinting, crossing etc.). Are the supremacies a good buy for me?
Thanks!

Supremacy's are a great shoe, i use them for both my school and club practices, they give you great touch and an even better shot, but to me dribbling feels kind of weird because the boot is pretty wide. The sizing on them runs about half a size bigger than the vapors and the tunits for example i wear in 8.5 in vapors, a 9 in supremacy and a 8.5 in tunits.. If you have any more questions about sizing i can help you friend

In response to Nuks question and any other like it, here is a side by side pic of a couple of boots
The vapor IVs and the Vapor 3s are 8.5, the Tunit is a size 9 but it feels like a 9.5, the Supremacy is a 9

I'm just wondering are there any differences in jr and adult powerswerves other than the fact that jr's are ULT- K leather and adult's are kangaroo leather. And if there aren't is it worth paying so much more just for the better leather? Is it even better?
