QUOTE(Predator 23 @ Aug 5 2008, 12:23 AM)

Ok you need to seriously think about what you post. You seem to be generalizing Americans as fake fans, which is bullshit. Sure there are some clueless fools claiming to support teams, and there are plenty everywhere in the world, including Manchester. As for the MLS dis, you are clearly being ridiculous. He is obviously supporting his local side, I don't know if you're a geography man but since he's from Cali, he's pretty close. Sure the level of play isn't on par with Europe, but the league needs support to grow and improve, something he is giving. Supporting 2 teams that are in no way in competition surely isn't ridiculous bandwagoning. Now claiming to support three large clubs in direct competition for the European Cup, well I just hope you didn't pull a hamstring jumping on those bandwagons.
And blzn I did not at all mean to imply that you were a clueless fool.
i actually live less than 45 minutes away from HDC and i frequently attend galaxy games. I also went to the 2004 mls cup game. so you are spot on =].

You may not care much about the club's history, but pretty much ANYONE else who supports Manchester United does. You've just gotta accept that people may be surprised and may not take kindly to "fans" who don't seem to care about things like the Munich Disaster.
Not trying to have a go, just trying to put it in slightly nicer terms.

The Partick Thistle kits is a Marketing decision
Greaves who run their shop etc know that the Pink Benfica and Palermo strips of recent times have sold pretty well so decided to give them this colour scheme after consultation with the club
It's still a shocker, but i know the model so i suppose thats not too bad

Yeah, I preferred the Boca shirts from the turn of the century in the brighter blue/yellow. The dark colours are cool and all but that home top is nearly identical to last year's.

Not necessarily, some sports store or shops use there own letters and printing patches, doesn't mean the kit is fake or wrong.

I think it is the blue printing. It is just duller because it is the crappy replica plastic printing.
