Home;

Away;

3rd/UCL;

I don't like the home kit much, at all. The collars are ugly. I'll probably get the away one next year, or maybe the home will grow on me.

Saw these on Chelsea Forum so I thought I'd post them in here. Credit to Gronkjaer30 aka Dean!
Texas Red Devil
Great find mate, those actually look classy. I love the collar on the home but I don't like the away.
beeflfc
those Chelsea shirts are awful the home looks like a pompy shirt and the away looks like a Southampton away kit , the black champions league shirt is cool i have to say

I agree although I think the black shirt is horrible too. I think there is a very cheap and plain look to all the Adidas shirts shown so far. Take the sponsor away from the yellow shirt and you have the Sweden WC2002 Adidas home shirt.
Pubes
The home kit is the only original-si hone (it still looks like Pompey..) and it is horrific. The away and 3rd are, like Treble said, un-original kits with the Chelsea logo.

plain plain plain

whoever designed them deserves a red.gif
3stripes
yeh those are kinda fugly unfortunately, but we shoul wait for proffesional pics or the players wearing that kit, before making any decissions.
Sushi19
on their away tops, it looks like theyre catering to shev. i like the black cl, it looks very classic and well, classy.
trts
Everything looks ugly on a hanger, guys. As someone else said, wait until the final product is worn by actual players.

aussie_gooner
that home shirt would have to be worn by someone from victoria's secret to make it look better....
Foxtrot
just one thing with those chelsea shirts
isnt the sponsor meant to be samsung mobile, not just samsung?
gman19
From what it appears Samsung is dropping the mobile part like Siemens did a couple of years ago, probably to broaden their overall market.
As for the shirts, the home looks kinda cool, I'm really liking the away (looks like some of their previous away's before) and the black is just too plain for me. If I had to choose out of the three I'd probably get the away.
George Foreman.
Those Chelsea shirts are horrible.
Soju
I'm not buying any adidas kits until they make them symmetrical again shirt sponsor on left, club crest on right. That adidas logo in the center of the shirt looks horrible on everything. What a stupid idea.
ritchievanhammond
the home looks like 97-99 season home
Texas Red Devil
It sure does, looks very similar to that.
gman19
since all of the Adidas kits are being leaked out, any chance of seeing either the new Schalke or Milan kits?

wokwikyen
Here i photoshoped the new chelsea kit on a player

Actually, i really like the chelsea new kit
Poti's Great Escape
is it just me, or does the shirt look empty?
King Lane
Good photomanipulation wokwikyen thumbsup.gif

I bet that pic of yours will appear in many blogs and football sites as the real thing.
wokwikyen
hahah it happens before when i posted the white away united kit (with the red center stripe) long time ago.
wokwikyen
ch1ma
wokwikyen, could you place the badge in the middle? i think that would lookmbest for the shirt in my humble opinion... happy.gif
Ayresome
Great work guys. I really like the home shirt, the gold/yellow gives it a touch of class. The away doesn't really look good to me but the third, in my opinion, looks nice smile.gif
Chesschess
Those mock-ups are awesome, could you do some for the other kits of Chelsea or any of the new kits in this topic? thumbsup.gif

Stupid Adidas forces Panathinaikos to add the three stripes in the sleeves for their centenary kit despite the fact that the initial design did not have any stripes since it was a kit based on Panathinaikos kit of the 1971 when the greek giants reached the Champions Cup final against Ajax!!!

Compare:

Adidas' deal with Panathinaikos would have been for the domestic league only. Its a similar situation to Ajax who wear the strip without stripes in Holland, but when they play in Europe they wear the 3 stripes

Adidas need the brand awareness so they aren't going to budge all the time

Adidas is silly with putting the stripes everywhere, even if the rest of the design does not correspond at all. They should have a respect to the tradition, they will get the money regardless of stripes.

Sparta Prague one-off kit supporting the team campaign against supporter's violence (the motto of the campaign is placed instead of the names and the jerseys are blue):

These will be used only for the league game this Sunday.

wokwikyen, you are a genius with photoshop smile.gif
Poti's Great Escape
no need for caps mate
look at the new england shirt, it will probably look like that but in blue/white
thorrrn
Please don't post unofficial designs in this thread. Just creates confusion. There is another thread for fantasy designs.

Post has been deleted. Thorrrn was right on the money when he said the reason why it was deleted smile.gif

I don't know if anyone else knows this (I'm sure there's probably at least one of you!), but I was speaking to a Product Manager from Canterbury the other day, and he told me an interesting little fact about Nike/Umbro and Adidas/Reebok. Apparently over the next few seasons, both Nike and Adidas will only produce kits for their higher profile clubs, and then for all of the lower clubs who have their kits, they will be replaced with Umbro and Reebok respectively

I thought it was pretty cool smile.gif

makes sense as fc koln is going to reebok

Yes it is common knowledge as already Adidas do this with Reebok. It is assumed the Nike is alos doing this as they planned to keep the Umbro brand name and not scrap it

Yeah but it matches the picture from the shirt on the MLS draft. They must be using it. Lazy imo.
beeflfc
it must be LA galaxys new kit because it has the new adidas logo in the bottom left hand corner the same logo the new adidas euro 2008 kits have, very similar though and this one is very plain and boring

^
When adidas' kits are "too busy," people complain. When they are plain, people complain. I guess what they should do to please people is to introduce the "retro" gimmick, which Nike has done to hide their lack of creativity, and everybody will automatically compliment the elegance of it.

Anyway, I like the Galaxy kit.
sharkoharris
^ well you can't please everyone, it's nice though that kits do change from year to year, if you really don't like a kit just wait until next season, or see if it grows on you.

hey this is my 20th post, should i celebrate?......nah
