It was folded over a bannister so you couldnt see. The more I think about it, the more annoyed I am by the lazyness

how can it be? it clearly is adidas trofeo, same as 2008 spain or germany.

i think you are mixing things up with adidas aquilla that looked a little bit equal in certain variations like chelsea away 06/07

Yesterday I have seen the new mesh "dual layer" Puma shirt (Austria home) and it looks very, very good. Not sure if that is the player's shirts that are being sold in Austria, or if really the away kit is made from totally different material, because the away replicas were much worse looking in terms of fabric.

No it's a
2006 Template, look at the collar design. All they've done is put some new lines on the chest.

it looks like a trofeo, the munich one you showed proves adidas can put a collar on anything. and the collars would be similar since both tops are made by adidas

yup, that is the basic of a new template, u just put new lines on a blank template.
I'm really amazed that u don't see that this is the new template for 2008 (with a collar)
as for ajaxforever... no kidding, is it ?!

That's my issue the term 'new template', Adidas are really pushing it by refering to it as such. I'm not an Adidas supporter so I just see it as it without the marketing BS.

adidas have "collared" versions of all their templates. that implicates nothing regarding the actual design of the template.

From my resources who's seen the kits (not 100% sure lah if he's lying or not):
1. Home kit will still be the same. This is confirmed because I have once sent email to manutd.com's online store and they confirmed that the red home jersey will be used for 2 season.
2. Away kit will be white with some blue on it (not sure what my friend meant)
3. Third kit will be all blue with the 40 years anniversary of United's first ever European Cup victory in 1968 embroided around the club crest. Something similar like the embroidery on the current Barcelona home and away.

Biggest crock of shit i've seen. WHERE ARE THE WHITE SLEEVES? If it is released, I urge EVERY gooner to boycott this kit. At least with the 'redcurrent' the marketing men had the excuse to spin it as 'historic', plus it was a one season job.
I didn't realise nike had licence to fuck around with with club tradition whenever they wanted.

I think the new kits look pretty awesome. Between the redcurrant 05/06 kit and the beautiful home strip we've worn since arriving at Ashburton Grove, it's been three straight seasons with a more throwback look. The new kits are much younger and contemporary looking. I'd like all white sleeves, too - but it doesn't make this an ugly kit, by any stretch.
I'll definitely be buying one.

yeah im not really feeling that new arsenal kit...
to be honest, the thing that annoys me the most about it is the "Gunners" on the back of the neck. id thought we might have started some sort of tradition with the cannon on the back. that just looks like something straight out of the mid 90's
and is that a darker shade of red for the trim or is it supposed to be blue??
Act One
Mar 6 2008, 05:50 PM
wow... those new arsenal kits are REALLY bad. And I wish the trim was blue... but sadly it is a 'red current' looking color. BOOOOOOO!!!! We should just keep the classy home kits we have now... imagine what the new long sleeve kits are gonna look like.... so disappointing.

If this is what was rumoured in 2006 then this one may be fake.
I certainyl hope it is, not that I dont like it but I just want them to make a slight adjustment and give it white sleeves like this:

Quality shirt.

The Arsenal away kit is meant to be yellow with navy sleeves similar to the 89 away kit. There was a pisture of it a few pages back which was posted the same time as the home was initially posted so it would appear to be accurate.
