Yeah if I do recall correctly there were lots of kits on ebay that actually had a fatter font than usual. I remember an Owen N'castle jersey that was authentic on ebay but with a larger font. Did the PL ever issue fonts before the new season for promotional reasons that were later abandoned and reduced in size????

The home kit will be available to pre-order from today (Friday 2nd May 2008) at the official retail stores at Molineux or Dudley Street. The shirts will be on sale from Friday 16th May 2008.

Prices have been frozen at last year's levels (adult home shirts will cost GBP 40 and junior home shirts GBP 30) and, in addition, for a limited period only fans who buy a new adult home shirt will be able to purchase a child's shirt or mini kit for half price (offer ends 31st May 2008).




New Stoke City Le Coq Sportif 2008/09 home kit



Here it is, Stoke City's new le coq sportif 08/09 home kit. Worldwide sport manufacturers le coq sportif have once again come up with a stunning new design which promises to be an even bigger hit than this season's strip.

The new look shirt features a predominant red stripe down the front, with le coq sportif's stylish blue logo on both the right hand sleeve and the right hand side of the chest. The Stoke City club crest is positioned as usual on the left hand side of the chest. The back of the new shirt features a blocked out red section at the top for the players name, to comply with FA regulations. The new shorts display the clubs crest and kit manufacturers on the side instead of the customary front.

The kit will be available to purchase from both the official club shop at the Britannia Stadium and the Potteries Shopping Centre Store today, with them both opening at 9am. As always the kit will be available in a wide range of sizes including Adults, Ladies, Juniors and Infants and we will stock both long sleeve and short sleeve shirts.

The Arsenal kit still more or less has white sleeves just not entirely, I think it looks okay except for the v-neck which I hate on any kits. Every time I see a new kit before its actually in action I don't really like it, like the current one when I first saw it I hated it but now its one of the best out there for me.

I will probably buy it, btw does anyone know if there will be a new away/3rd kit released for Arsenal or will the current two carry on ?

There is a new Away kit, it's yellow/navy anniversary one.

Regarding the home, my initial reaction was that it looked awesome, until I saw clearer pictures and realised the piping wasn't navy or black as it first looked, but that horrible redcurrant colour.

Seen this. Prettly lame of Adidas to produce shirts from the players with breaks in in the sleeves for or the sleeve badges but replicas have no breaks.

I don't like the Liverpool shirt, it looks really plain and the detail under the collar is too bold for the simple design.

Don't like the sponsor though. Even Mansion.com would have been better.

Puma can't seem to beat the Spurs kits they designed for 06-07, those were class. The sponsor on the new kit looks awful if its legit.

I've seen photos of that without the red box-M, which leads me to believe it could be photoshopped on (of course the ones I've seen could have it photoshopped off, but I'm not sure why anyone would do that).

Anyway, I haven't seen these but only read them (in Italian). The new Juve kit will do off with the red trimming of this season back to yellow while the away will be completely yellow. The new Milan kits will be nothing revolutionary but aparently the big news is Inter's away kit will be chocolate and the shorts aswell. oh and the sponsor will be in gold.

Before people say "it's a bit plain", we're the Lilywhites, it's our heritage. Great to see hooped socks return.

Personally I love it, 100% in line with the traditions of a club who were one of the Football League's founder members, the first double winners and the first team in English football to go a season unbeaten, which will soon grace the world's oldest club stadium in current use which will be complete by the start of next season.

The Tottenham sponsor looks awful on the shirt imo

Yeh, they will wear the new one against Fulham though, I know that. Just read in the paper that they will wear all blue in the final.
