does anyone know when united's comes out? probably not for a while, right?
after CL final i suppose, current kits still selling good with all that success so no need to clear out everything just about now and make people wait for the new kits

United's kits always come out ridiculously late, around August again probably.

Adidas seem to be leaning towards this KOP end checkered flag thing????
All in all I like it alot!!!!!
Yuk. Grey only ever works for keeper shirts.

Speaking of new badges, no one has yet mentioned QPR's new badge:

I friggin' hate it, robs the club of it's identity. There was nothing wrong with the old one. What's up with people tweaking all the badges? Man Utd (although just slightly), Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, Villa, Portsmouth, QPR, Boro, Derby have all changed their badge in the last years.
But QPR has definitely changed it too much for my liking.

A bit elaborate methinks, probably to do with the new Italian owners and their love of things which they deem "English" (I remember reading somewhere that Italians like to dress how they think an English country gentleman would dress, hence all the Windsor-knotted ties and brown brogues)
Most clubs have changed their badges in recent years as they weren't able to prevent others selling merchandise with the old insignia on them as the originals were never trademarked.

I don't like the mesh pattern on the sleeve as it seems pointless but I think its a bit harsh to say that it makes the shirt look like shit

I think the bloke in the picture is a competition winner (if you voted on the shirt design you were entered into a competition that won you a trip to Errea's factory in italy and a holiday or something).
The new keeper tops:

I hate them

, the badge looks too far wide - oh well, i won't be wearing it anyway

I think the template is nice but the placement of the badge is horrific.

ournew kit is very nice actually..the collar is unique , instead of rounding the collar like the template(eg.shalke) they've made it unique to liverpool and pointed it ..your current home kit is better than this one, the designers have gone backwards..i mean the contest winner with alves says it all lol look at 1 of the people who's picking your kit!!!!i rest my case

Each competition's sponsor want all the teams in it wearing their logos, this was
Lyon and
PSG midweek. It's not as bad as a few seasons ago when all the team had to wear the same brand (Adidas).
G-Hammer
May 9 2008, 05:01 AM
Yeah I remember watching the French Cup final a year or two back and PSG were wearing Adidas and I thought I was tripping, I always wondered what that was about!
I've never been keen on the over-sponsorship some French teams have on their shirts, I remember Lyon used to sell their replicas without any sponsor, presumably because hidden under the 7 sponsor logos they had a nice shirt.

It wasn't just Adidas manufacturing the French Cup kits that they had a monoploy on. They also made all players playing for the french national team wear Adidas boots and that caused problems with players individual boot deals with other companies. Pires was once excluded from the squad for it as he had a deal with Nike and he eventually refused to wear the boots. It was similar with Adidas and Germany for a while as Lehmann I think complained about having to wear Adidas gloves for the national teams when he was contracted to Nike
