This Valencia team isn't very good. We dominated, in terms of possession, chances and general play, and had it not been for the woodwork twice, and the heroics of Santi, we'd have won that by at least 3-4. We have something like 11 shots on target.
Seriously, if I was David Villa, I'd be watching that and thinking 'mhm.. if I was in this Chelsea team, I'd have had 3 goals............in the first half alone.' With our striker problem, we should go in for him and on displays like this, he must seriously contemplate why he isn't at a club like ours where so many chances get created but we suffer from poor finishing (unless we have Drogba there).
Anywho, Bridge was awesome all game. Ferreira came back from injury and performed well, likewise for Belletti when he came on. Ben Haim wasn't bad, but got caught out of position a couple times - an improvement, though. Terry was immense, very good performance. Essien and Lampard controlled the midfield and bossed it, and broke through at will, and Sheva had an excellent game I thought, although the finishing and luck just still isn't with him. His movement meant that we were almost unplayable in the first half, and we got in behind their defence time after time. SWP was very wasteful with the crossed, but as I've said before, he still manages to carve out a good few chances per game. Kalou was bright, but wasteful and Joey came on and played well.
Shame we couldn't put this team away, because the difference between us right now is massive.

I didn't even watch the game but boring I presume?
Glad we didn't lose though to preserve our streak..
We played quite well, I thought.. just was wasteful/unlucky.
