Yea i just voted too. I think they should've had more boots to choose from like Adipures could easily be most comfortable.

What boot did everyone think was the best overall boot of this year? I think last year for me was Vapor IIIs, this year probably Adipures.
Texas Red Devil
Jul 26 2008, 01:05 PM
I personally think it is the Vapor IV's!
Thanks for voting guys!

In my opinon they should have offered choices for the best looking in the world, not just Premiership Home shirts. Good Poll though, anyway.
EDIT: TRD, do yu know what the boots that they will give to the winner for this year are going to be? I was just wondering if they're going to be giving the winner top of the line stuff or not. I was guessing Top of the line, but I wanted to make sure.

Jul 27 2008, 08:09 PM
Of course mate

Only the best for the boot room

The Grand Prize winner actually gets to choose the boots!
*The Best Looking Football Shirt was conducted at FB's partner site Football Shirt Culture and was only EPL home kits unfortunately. It will be expanded next year though

If we win the shirt, can it be litteraly any shirt available?
And if we win the free boots every year for 10 years, could I get Mercurial SLs this year and next maybe?

I just got word from the head of FB and thought I should clear something up. The brands nomintate their boots for a given category, we don't select them.

How did you get to work for FB TRD?
Might put a vote in soon if I have time.

Well thanks anyways mate

I frequently posted in the old Footy-Boots forum and left numerous comments and particapated in many of their projects having to do with viewers. I was then asked if I would be interested in doing some work for them and I joined. They actually were impressed with my findings on SP and PM'd me about the opportunity here.
Go ahead and vote mate, you've got nothing to lose

Just to clear this up: I got a FB email telling me to vote (before you posted the link here). I used that to vote but I can't recall any mention of the free boots for 10 years lark. Am I still entered?

Jul 28 2008, 02:45 PM
Yeah, I just set up this thread a little bit late as the awards had already been running for a day or two. There souldn't be any problems
DoubleO7
Jul 28 2008, 06:00 PM
I could get a picture of the mag if that helps... but my scanner is donaldducked

Sounds like a fun job eh.
Just one thing about the voting... I found it a bit silly me having to vote for a most comfortable boot when i had only worn one of them. Maybe next time we dont have to vote in every category. Just a suggestion.
Hopefully
I'll win though someone from the forum will win, fingers crossed.
Texas Red Devil
Jul 28 2008, 10:15 PM
Its a good idea, but that wouldn't be as appealing to many viewers.
DoubleO7
Jul 29 2008, 06:54 AM
I didn't mean that you couldn't vote for all of them, just I didn't really want to vote in most comfortable boot as I have worn only one but I had to vote in every to get my votes submitted didn't I?
Oh and I was wondering what Concave's part in the awards were. Is it just a bit of much needed exposure or do they play a part in judging etc.
Texas Red Devil
Jul 29 2008, 08:42 AM
Yes, it was required that you vote in every category.
As for Concave, as far as I know, its just for exposure.

Oh sorry Ze. As for the shirts, I don't know so I'll get back to you on that. I'll ask about it next time I'm on Skype with Alan.
From what I understand you probably could get the Mercurial SL's (no promises) as we receive boots from the suppliers that we give as awards, as well as buying the boots on our own notice.
