Will this destroy the boots faster and will it hurt your feet?Anyone got experience from this.I mean on a natural surface which isn't very flat and soft.Because I saw Laser II SG on kitbag for 96 gbp including shipping which is even a bit cheaper than the e-bay sells and quite more safer. And the question on the other side do you feel uncomfortable with FG boots on top quality pitch

depends what you mean as a top quality pitch. There are top quality wet pitches so you would wear fg cleats and then there is wet soft fields that need a sg. And dry fields can use fg and hard ground on hard. If this field you are talking about is hard then saving some money by getting sg cleats is not worth it as your feet can get damaged

by not so good im gonna assume you mean a pitch better suited for fg cleats. i wouldnt reccomend wearing sg boots on a fg quality field, mainly because you can injure your legs and its not worth it.

Thanks fellas, but the SG and FG Laser II's are on the same price...and when you go to play a game against other team I can't know whether their pitch is soft or hard.Did you get my point now? Here there aren't only pitches like those from TV(no matter some of them are bad too).So which is more universal SG or FG?morientes, when you play on wet soft pitches that need sg boots with fg boots do you feel uncomfortable?

How wet is your winter? If you live in england and play during the winter i'd highly suggest getting boots with studs (sg). other wise for most of the season you wont have any grip in you boots. I've got a really cheap pair of fg boots for when its summer and i just wear them if the pitches are too hard

if the ground isnt very soft then i'd suggest using FG studs, because too hard and your SG studs could cause you to roll your ankle. i'd rather slip over than roll my ankle. i've played on really sht pitches where there is just mud and bits of grass, really makes me wonder if i should get SG shoes lol.

Well normally you can at least play on a wet pitch in FGs may not be the best but you can usually get by.
But playing on a hard pitch in soft grounds is a recipe for problems.

OK thanx for all the info, the things become more clear now.Hear we have 4 seasons temperature vary from -x degree celsius to 40 degree in the hot summer days. But if the is being watered is there still a problem if it just isn't smooth

why not buy both fg and sg in the same boot. thats what i do. take both boots to ur match and start in fg and if after the warm up ur boots dont feel right u can change them before kick off, or change them at half time or whatever... simple...
if ur strapped for cash and cant buy two pairs then buy fg and get some rubber replacement studs so u can alternate according to the pitch condition...

The boots I'm going to buy will cost with shipping near 100 pounds.Include another 85 pounds for the other lasers =185 pounds.I don't really think I can afford that...

i noticed some people on ebay selling pairs of lasers, one sg and one fg, pretty good idea, i should be doing it. as much as i'd like to buy another pair, i dont play enough to fork out more money for another pair lol.
this is probably why tunits are popular, you can change studs according to pitch condition. i noticed the lasers/legends come with screw studs, could you actually buy FG studs to screw onto those?

well if its sopping wet then it is uncomfortable in my fg. but a nice wet field, not muddy, you can be safe in fg
