Hi everyone,

I'm really interested in purchasing a Messi #10 Barcelona jersey from www.kitbag.com

Thing is, I've never ordered a jersey from them before. Some reviews say they are good, some say they are bad. I just wanna know, do they sell actual replica shirts or are they some cheap knockoffs? Also, if I were to throw my jersey into the wash would the printing on it hold up? I ask this because I purchased a shirt from Ebay once (yeah I know, big mistake) and after I threw it in the wash the lettering started to peel away a bit.

I would really appreciate it if somebody could answer my question. If there is another thread with answers to this, please direct me there.

Kitbag sell 100% authentic replica jerseys, they are also in charge of Barcelona's official online store http://shop.fcbarcelona.com/stores/barcelona/default.aspx

The kitbag reviews are mainly focused on customer service side not the shirts as it is well known that they sell authentic shirts. Wwith regards to kitbags customer service and efficiency i have never had a problem with them, they have always delivered on time, order is fully trackable and more detailed tracking if needed if you call them, my shirt printing has always been correct and they have never messed up an order of mine. I reccomend kitbag highly.

With the peeling issue it was probably down to it being fake lettering and this is of lower quality. As long as you dont wash the shirt at a really high temperature and dont put it in the tumble dryer the lettering and numbers shouldnt peel.

Hope thats of some help

Kitbag - customer service wise seems to be hit or miss. I read certain customer complaints regarding botched orders but they have always delivered correctly and promptly in my experience. Aside from the fact that all the orders have been on point thus far, the prices can be amazing. Thats why I check frequently. An example, I ordered the France Home kit for 15+ shipping.

One more question, I live in Canada and I know I won't have to pay any taxes for the shirt since I'm not in Europe but will I be charged for any duties? If I will be charged, does anyone know how much?

Also, what is meant by a Code 10 Query? I've read some people having problems with that....

I live in Canada as well and I've ordered from kitbag a few times. All of my jersey purchases were under $30 (sale items) so I've never had to pay duties or deal with customs in any way.

So it really depends on the amount you're gonna be spending before shipping costs. If you're gonna order a $60 jersey, you might be dinged an extra $20-30 when it comes to your door.

The way duties and taxes are calculated: ~$7 handling fee, 12% tax (in this case, ~$7), and if the jersey is not made in North America, 25% duty ($15).

I have no idea what code 10 query means.

Good luck

Alright well I talked to another Canadian member on this board, Red Carbon (very helpful) and he said that if I ordered just 1 item from Kitbag with the regular shipping ($15) then I probably won't have to pay any duties. At least that was his experience with it.

And I called Kitbag about what Code 10 query means and they said it's just a security check on their part to make sure the credit card information is correct and that the payment can be made.
