i have to go with the vapor iis best cleat ever IMO, as for the color i chose the red/metallic gold as i just ordered a pair a few days ago.

Why do you think they are better than the newer versions?

idk well for me ive worn the ii iii and iv but the feel in the iis has just been the best for me. The cleat has lasted me 2 years already and yea its coming apart but i still chose them over the rest of the cleats i have. My iiis snapped in half and either way they disappointed me by the fact that the iis were still more efficient than the iiis. The iiis made me feel stiff while the iis had me loose and for some reason i felt as if they were lighter maybe its just me but idk thats just my opinion

My Sport Red/Gold Vapor IVs are really nice. But the back heel studs are starting to peel off. And the Lace cover is getting little "cuts" as well.
As much as it is nice, nothing can replace my Sport Red/White Vapor IIIs.


And I'm pretty sure the most of us whom bought Sport Red/Gold Vapor IVs, are just following CR7 boots...CR7 fanboys...
As a matter of fact, I bought the Red/Gold to "replace" my Red/White.

even though i can barely fit into vapors (as it would rape my feet after 20mins of jogging), i love the design and fit of the vapor iii's, which werent as bad as the IV's (struggled to even fit into them and had to go a size up). the white and blue definitely wins me over and having a SL heel/base looks awesome on ices!. i dont know what nike were thinking with the heel thing on the standard IV's. it looks a little out of place and strange

Ronaldo also switched out color-ways during the 06-07 season...(Platinum/Red) and (Argon Blue/Black)...
