My top 4:
1. Asics Tigreor - completely underrated, I have got a pair for 35 pounds and they are the best boots I have ever worn. Upper made of a unique combination of real K leather and synthetics.
2. Adidas Predator Pulse - very good boot, shame about the durability, the leather is of the high quality. A bit overpriced though.
3. Nike Mercurial Vapor - lightest boot ever made, unparallelled first touch and feel of the ball. Again overpriced.
4. Diadora Attiva - leather quality exceeds that of the Pulse, the downside is that the leather is really thin so it doesn't last too long.
My worst 4:
1. Hummels - had a pair, not a 200 pounds one, nothing special at all.
2. Adidas F50 - Too narrow, had problems with the insoles (they kept on shifting inside the boot, maybe because it was soaking wet), and the worst is the water-proof problem. I also think the F50+ is overrated, despite numerous changes in design. I mean, the waterproof problem is still there...
3. Reebok Baleni - Uncomfortable, feels flimsy.
4. Nike Air Legends - Completely overrated and overhyped. Amazing how an average boot can be pumped up so greatly. Insole is uncomfortable at places, leather is poor on the sides, heavy. Good thing the price is not as high as the Pulse. For the same price I should have tried the Copas!
I don't intend the above list to be the best/worst boots ever made, but I have had all those boots and they are the best/worst I have had.
