Due to high server loads, we have had to put a limit on the board. If the server gets too busy you may get a message, and the board will be unavailable.
Untill we get the upgraded server (very soon) this will have to be the norm.

Well while the site was just taken offline, I did a bit of a file cleanup with the forum, but my main reason for taking it offline was to test some new system and mysql settings. I would hope that this will bring some level of improvement as eliminate some of those server error messages you guys have been getting.
Let me know how things work out for you over the next few days.

Yes I was aware of these problems as well. We did get it fixed around 2-3pm my time.. (the evening in UK) but by then the peak time for the UK was over anyways.

Ok, just because people dont seem to understand. I will spell it out for everyone.
The server cannot take the massive amount of traffic and load we are putting on it. I will be upgradeing the server next week to a better one, but in teh mean time we have limited the allowable server load the forum can put on teh server.
THIS MEANS THAT AT SOME TIMES YOU WILL GET AN ERROR MESSAGE
Simply try again later on. SP isnt dying, Its not encountering errors, Its simply too big.
So please, Refrain from telling me or frstplce, or posting that particular error message. We are the ones that put it there. We know.

But im sure you posted that a good two hours after i posted ingood intentions

Please dont bother telling us. We already know. Its not like we can send apoligy letters to everyone. Patience. I hope one or Two SP'ers have it.

Not sure why anyone is still getting those messages. There is no reason for it. Since this server is only running this site, it should be more than comfortable handling the current load. I guess I need to look into this further.
