Hey, was wondering if anyone knows what Rangers make will be next season, coz I seen on the Rangers website that there deal is finished with Diadora and they're in contract talks with a big brand name, any1 got any ideas of who it will be, just a big rangers fan here wanting 2 know eh lol.

i think it will either be adidas or umbro somebody said umbro but i think adidas because our ball boys wear adidas track suits (THAT RANGERS FC SUPPLIED THEM WITH) our official boot sponsor is adidas and we also play adidas adverts on the big screens at ibrox

Rangers' kits will be made by umbro next season, i had heard that it was umbro a few months ago and 'the sun' confirmed it yesterday by saying rangers wud once again be sponsored by umbro.

I wonder when they will officially announce the news!

Umbro!? why Umbro, not many teams with that make anymore, Chelsea are changing and so is Celtic, who else has the make Umbro again, I cant mind? I think Adidas or Puma, plus I like puma-made strips n I like the style of them as well, I cant really see them goin back 2 Adidas or Nike but coz we've had both makes and well has there ever bn a team whose gone back 2 there old make? well hopefully they do go back 2 either one, I'm not bothered. It makes the team , sort of more respectable, if u no what I mean, like you dont see Real Madrid or AC Milan with Diadora as there make do u now?

what's wrong with umbro.. if u are with adidas or nike they will just make a kit that looks the same as all the other teams they sponser

hey, found out earlier on that it is Umbro after all thats the new make...oh well, not 2 happy, but I'll still buy it of course. The reason I think Umbro is a bad deal is coz Chelsea and Celtic are finishing there deals with them and to me Umbro is not as big as it used 2 be and teams are seeing that, like Chelsea and Celtic and also Man Utd a couple of years ago. I dont know why Rangers bought out the rest of there deal with Nike, fair enough to make more money but Nike is a big name brand, Umbro is half of what Nike is I think, well thats my own opinion, just hope the strip looks good. Just wish Rangers would stop getting rubbish shitty wee deals with past it brands, they're better than that.

I don't think we should be saying that Umbro is a smaller company than Nike or Adidas and therefore this deal is not good for Rangers. All that matters to Rangers FC is that they have selected the best offer available to them. At the end of the day I believe Rangers chose Umbro because this is the deal they can get the most money from!

I agree that perhaps with Rangers signing with Umbro, their shirts should be less 'stereotyped', unlike Nike or Adidas lines...

I have to say that UMBRO are NOT making our kits. They are a spinsor, like Diadora were. Rangesr make their own kits, we just use another sportswear brand as a sponsor to maximise our money.

SO UMBRO is simply a sponsor, not a producer of this kit.

Was just watchin Rangers Tv and its sayin Rangers will make more money than Celtic will a year, 6.5m a year compare to Celtics 5m a year, so not bad business, and Rangers Retail Director Martin Peal, said Umbro have a hand in the design of the kit on the 2nd year of the contract they signed so although we aint having UMBRO designing our kits for the 1st year sadly they are in the 2nd. The only Umbro strip I liked was the wooly typed Man Utd home strip a few years ago, all my pals hated it including 1 of my die hard Man U pals but I'd say thats bn there best.

Darn that means the kit out in May will only be for a year.... sigh*

Ayep, means more money for Rangers though I suppose, and hopefully to bring in some decent players with the money. Anyway dont you get sick of teams having the same strip for like 3 years or something, I think a year for a strip is about right because with me I begin 2 get bored with seeing the same top again n again well, 1 top that should've had a longer run out was the strip to win 50 league titles, even thought loads thought it wiz hideous I quite liked that top n I thought it was better looking and definitely better quality than the home top they've got now, I mean I've had the same Rangers home strip 4 times because of the Carling sign cracking and the strip gettin loads of bobbles on it, lets hope the carling sign on the umbro strip will be done with material like the Rangers Away top rather than a logo steam pressed on as it cracks and comes off within 5 washes of it.
