I think you should go for pulses, they can cover up your ankles and you can tie it tight with the long laces so yeh!!
tom_thequiff
yeh pulses or manias would be good; they have quite a high heel that can provide good support and they also have the external heel counter to stop heel injuries...
Brian.
Look at strapping for your ankles and also talk to your doctor about taking Glucosamine Sulphate supplement which will help build up the cartlidge in your knees and ankles.

Doc Martins are good....

its easy to fold your ankles in vapors, pulses have the heel support that hugs yur ankle too, or try the lotto vento.

i have vapours and after the third time i wore them i rolled my ankle pretty bad. and i wore ankle tape to keep my shin guards up so what i did the next time was continue to tape down my ankle and down onto my foot like and ankle brace. works really well actually, and looks pretty nice too!

These provide all around good ankle protection from the enchanted red dragon.

well i play basketball, and my bball shoes are obvoiusly alot more high cut than any cleat out there. there no cleat out there that can prevent a sprain on its own.why do u think so many nba player wear braces? the best thing to do is tape up or get a brace.
