Are there any league followers out there? I assume there would be a few with all the Aussies on the forum.

Don't watch much NRL, I'm more of a Super League fan. I know NRL is a better league though.

super league, hah, that didnt last long here, its still strong in brits though, im not a huge huge fan of league, but i do follow the knights, and the mighty broncos, warriors man, looks like another disapointing season, cowboys look good, rosters look shaky though, dragons, souths, and knights to fight for the wooden spoon, bulldogs wont win, prob 8th for them

Yeah the Warriors have been disappointing again. Nothing surprises me anymore with them. For example, on the weekend all Ropati the fullback had to do was run the ball up and keep hold of it before half time. But, nah he drops it and gives the Cowboys a really soft try.

In other news I'm glad to see Hopoate get kicked out of the NRL. He's a bloody disgrace .

HA Bulldogs 8th. Good on ya. Shaky start but they'll come good. Manly have improved dramatically and St George are going to have a long year. Cowboys look to be serious bit it is still early in the season. A lot can happen.

yeah you know i hate the bulldogs, i was almost content to not put them in at all, but i gave them the worst spot in the playoffs, warriors, it was good to see stacy play a bit of his old game, he's like johns, great but losing it, i think once the roosters get there line up secure they'll come back,

Yeah I feel sorry for Hopa's 8 kids. What kind of future can he provide for them? The guy could've been remembered as a great of the game - a true man mountain who was almost unstoppable. But his behaviour was often crazy on the field. He's had over 2 seasons of his career in suspension.

Sonny Bill's great but the media has gone nuts over the guy. I'm getting sick of hearing about him being the next great thing. He should just be let to get on with his game.

Well in a way the Aus Super League is still going... after all it merged with the old ARL competition to form the NRL didn't it?

As for Williams... he's obviously going to be the next big pile of shit. I'm not saying he won't be good but how could he live up to all the media hype!?

Never really been a fan of the NRL but seeing oh I live in Melbourne I follow the storm from time to time.... I've never been to a game here because I follow the AFL as if its the end of the world!

Looks like Anthony Mundine could be heading to the Warriors. They've got plenty of space available under the salary cap next season now that Stacey Jones is going to play in France. The Warriors' owners also have a boxing promotion which may help sway 'the man'. Anyway, Mundine was at a boxing event tonight in Auckland and will watch the Warriors game this weekend.

Hmm. Talented player, but worth the possible trouble for the Warriors? He might just end up back at the Dragons though.
