Read a post not long ago (think it was something like "Boycott nike AZT 90 III") and everyone who wrote in that thread seemed to hate the Vapors and nike shoes in general. So my question: How do you feel about the vapors? why?

I really like the vapors. I have a pais of cinder FG and have ordered a pair of white Sg that should arrive in the beginning of the week
wub.gif

The reason i bought the vapors is beacuse they are really light and they fit my feet very good. and of course they dont look to bad either whistling.gif

Also in the thread everyone was complaining about the vapors giving them blisters. I've had that problem with almost every pair of shoes I've worn but the solution is simple. Just put a bit of vaseline in the heel (or wherever you get your blisters) of the shoe everytime before wearing them. After a month or so the shoes should have moulded perfectly into your feet thumbsup.gif

hello johan never seen u around here so welcome....

i believe the vapors are hated on here because we have a strong opinion that they are not quality boots but just have the looks..

we have some vapor lovers here too soo ur gonna get some dif. opinions.

My opinion is that vapors are pretty good boots. If they sucked pros wouldnt be wearing them and would be wearing legends or t90 III
i think this is a striker/wing midfield boot

Thanks siino smile.gif been around a while but haven't posted so much

Yeah your right Drogba123...Last year i played a lot in defense so it was almost impossible not to get stepped on sometimes...hurts like hell
TC

Vapors are light and easy to get used to the boot but it's expesive. It's more expensive than Pulse's (at least in our country) and other than its lightweight frame, theres nothing else to the boots. No support either. Plus the fact that it's Nike, which means that they'll probably break aparter in 3-4 months...

Hate it.

i love em. its down to personal opinion really and i was lucky enough not to be one to get mega blisters. theyre light and resillent. ive been using em for ages.

i love em,

i got two gold ones and i cant wait until the white andred get sent to me, i pre-ordered from soccershopusa, ive only had one blister with that and now they are great,

they have the looks too

well i have had about 9 pairs of vapors and i can tell you i love them i did not like them at first because of how close they fit but then i got use to them and i dont think i can ever go back to using manias or pulses.

to be honest ive had vapors twice. and they are good, but not as good for shot taking and i feel now i need sum boots with power. i like em, but i aint tried pulses or legends. maybe its coz ive only had vapor ones.

9 pairs blink.gif blink.gif
I'm satisfied with having a single pair of pulses smile.gif
Although my pulses are great I'm always pondering the idea of getting some vapors.
PannaMasta
The only vapor I like is the vapor K, it molds to your foot quickly and after that its perfect.

well if you do invest in a pair of vapors you might not like them at first but after 1 week i swear you will love them there very sleek and light.

but i have a feeling you will love them i sure do laugh.gif
Azza7777
Now I've got an even bigger urge to buy a pair laugh.gif

I think it is worth buying a pair of vapours, to see if they are ur type of boot. Its a must for each good player.

Im a left back, and bought some chrome ones. I think mine must have been magic: My feet are sooooooooo wide, but my the vapours moulded to feet straight away, i never got one blister and they were the most comfy boots i ever wore, AND i only paid 20 pounds. banana.gif Sadly they are too small now, and now i have to wear mystics.

Btw, Are copas similer to vapours?
El_Mago#7
vapors are by far the best football shoe around in the states and in europe they cause some blisters but u get over it when u wear them in a little. just like my orange blaze vapors . the vaporII gave me no blisters what so ever when i played with them in my tournament 2 weeks a go
i don't know why people don't like the vapor shoe.

maybe because they're pricey mfight.gif mfight.gif mfight.gif

Vapors have to be by far the best boots i have and have ever worn. They are kind of expensive, but i can get them for cheap on ebay sometimes. Good thing when i go to college in the fall my team is sponsored by nike so i will get the vapors for free.
reynaldino
I love my mania's but when eastbay had the orange vapors for 50 bucks last summer----i couldn't resist, they took about 3 weeks to break in, i would wear them for about 10-15 minutes per session and switch out and over the summer-fall i was able to train a whole session with them----yes either you love them or hate them, i believe they are a good boot, and would suggest that if someone really has the desire to try them, try them--but be patient with the time it takes for your feet,

i just cant imagine what it would feel like to strike a ball in the middle of October in Western New York----COLD

vapors are so good, i think i'll never be able to play with another pair of boots again laugh.gif i feel like all my moves are gettin faster with them on, especially stepovers, it feels like playing barefooted! i've had the white ones, now i got the reds, and i'm going to order a new pair soon because the reds are soon falling apart. can't play without them. first time i didn't use them, 5 weeks ago, i broke my ankle, so the vapors are the only shoes that eill do laugh.gif

I get boots like every six or more months too unless i work then i can get them sooner. Even then if i work i will buy them about every six months. Like i said in the other post now that i am going to play for a college team sponsored by nike I will get free vapors (probably free nike balls too).

Loved em once, hate em now. When i first got some reds about a year ago i thought they fitted perfectly. I got major blisters everytime i played though. After a while my heals toughened up and i learnt tricks to prevent them. Playing in them a lot more now and no matter what i do i still get blisters and the sole is coming away from the nikeskin.
Played some five a side today and got stamped on by a lad in some soft ground boots and it hurt like hell. Broken my foot before and it didnt hurt that much!
Awaiting a delivery of some F50+ Goal after trying some on last week, theres some comfort for yah.

Don't bring threads that are a year and a half old with a post like that back to life. If it is imperative that you do, make sure it's with a post that is actually worth it...that my friend, wasn't worth it.
