The boots cost me AU$250 which is the most I have ever spent for a pair of soccer boots. Last season I had the German Copa's so my standards were high when I decided to purchase these new boots.

The first thing i noticed when picking up the boots was the weight, which i think is due to the sole plate. You could easily tell this is one of the heavier boots on the market. But really, it makes no difference to your play and it definitely should not put you off purchasing the boot.

Kicking around before the game, the boots felt a bit tight width-wise but this could be because I have wide feet or i was wearing two pairs of socks. This got better as the game went on and the boots began to conform to my foot shape.

The studs felt really good, I didn't feel any excessive pressure on my feet and i felt totally confident when doing sharp turns on the ball and whilst running. I think the studs are much better than the Copa's, which i felt were a little too small and lacking in advanced stud configuration which the Legends have.

The leather feels really nice. It's soft, but not too soft and it's really nice to kick with. I was playing sweeper and had to take all of the goal kicks so it was important that i could kick well and the Legends passed that test with flying colours.

I think the design of the Legends is really nice. A mix of modern and retro, the boots really look a class act. I particularly like the velcro which keeps the tongue down, which just makes one less thing i have to worry about when playing a game.

The boots pulled up well after the game, with only a bit of a grass stain on the nike tick on the tongue of the left boot, but that is to be expected. No other splits, stains or scratches on any parts of the boot could be seen.

In conclusion, I think the Nike Air Legends are a fantastic boot. They are comfortable, they have a nice touch, and they look very nice. However, they do carry a hefty price tag and are not as comfortable as the Adidas german copa's. I think anyone who is going to spend anywhere around that price range on a pair of boots should definitely seriously consider the Nike Air Legends.

Aesthetics 3.5/5

Well, with nike’s advertising and with all the respected professional players sporting the product, at first glance the azt total 90’s look beautiful. Well I tell you that you’ve all been hypnotised by the expert marketing skills of nike. If you look at things with some perspective then you start to realize that it’s no wonder why some call these the “Frankenstein”. However, when seen from afar these can make your feet look quite handsome.

Value 4.5/5

They are top quality boots despite what I think of their looks. And being top quality, there comes a large price tag. While it is true these will punch a big hole through your wallet, they are worth almost every penny in my opinion. And the good part of it all, as newer models continue to somehow magically drop out of nike’s ass, the prices will continue to drop as well.

Comfort 5/5

If it were possible I would give these a rating of ten out of five. These boots are absolutely perfect in every possible way in my opinion in terms of comfort. I’ve never had boots fit my wide feet so well before. It’s just a question of whether narrow footed people will think the same thing.

Performance 5/5

Comfort helps the performance dramatically as well. Some people don’t much care for the synthetic materials nike uses and prefers k-leather over them but to me, if it feels good and you can play well in them, it doesn’t matter all too much. I have a better feel on the ball with these than with any other boots I’ve tried on and the traction style is great too although the studs are round (I normally prefer the bladed studs). My passing, shooting, lobbing and etc. are all great with these.

Durability 3.5/5

While being amazingly comfortable and performing well, the durability isn’t exactly the best in the world. At first it’s great and the studs weren’t as weak as I thought they would be but over time they will start to fail you somewhat. Maybe it’s because the synthetic material isn’t as durable as they should be, or maybe it’s the horrid conditions us non-pro players have to play in, but for some reason they are not as durable as a pair of footy boots should be. One thing to note though is that the problems will only come over a long period of time and at first you will not notice anything.

Average 4.3/5

Additional Comments:

At first I was really hesitant to even try these on because of all the horrid stories about nike I’ve been accustomed to. Things such as how nike doesn’t know anything about the game, all they want is money, nike products are unsafe etc. Well those rumours are true to a certain extent but not in these. The air zoom total 90 iii’s are truly top of the line and it would not be a mistake to get yourself a pair as well.
And about the lower versions of these … the lower versions are very similar to the real ones but for the fact that they are not at all durable and feel a bit different when the ball makes contact with your foot. The comfort and performance is still pretty much the same in my opinion with very slight differences.

Aesthetics 5/5
It’s no doubting that these pair of footy boots are an absolute beauty. They’re unique looks are popularized even more so by respected professionals such as Beckham and Zidane seen wearing the predators week in week out. Along with the Vapours, the predators are certainly one of the “ultimates” in terms of looking good, looking cool. When I tried these on however, they looked a wee bit awkward but only because they were slightly stretched out by my wide feet.
Value 4/5
The predators definitely are boots that are top of the line. But with top of the line boots, comes a price fit for top of the line boots unfortunately. They are one of the most expensive out there but the good thing is they are worth ever penny and prices ARE dropping as time goes on.
Comfort 4.5/5
In terms of comfort, these are one of the best. Whether your narrow footed or wide footed these won’t bother you too much. And, being made of kangaroo leather, these cleats will mould to your feet and fit you perfectly after awhile (if they don’t right when you try them on of course. They don’t really need much time to break in to, which is a very good thing in my opinion). The only little problems I’ve experienced in terms of comfort was that after a while of wearing the predators, the soles of my feet started to bother me somewhat. If your not careful, blisters could be on your way with a pair of these.
Performance 5/5
There’s no wondering why so many professionals, famous or not, choose to lace up a pair of predators week in week out. With the asymmetrical lacing style and the unique looking toungue covering the lacing, the feel on the ball is supreme. I kicked a few balls around with these babies on me and it was poetry in motion (well, up until the part when I started to feel blisters coming on to my feet). But when you pass, shoot, lob or whatever, the predators will perform amazingly.
Durability 5/5
I’ve heard stories on the internet that k-leather will start to crack in a few years of wear. I’ve no knowledge as to whether that is a fact or not seeing as how I haven’t ever had the predators with me that long, but I can tell you I’ve hardly found any faults with durability.
Score- 4.5/5
Additional comments:
And about the lower versions of the predators, such as the pulsions and pulsados … well of course the quality of the material isn't as nearly as good as the pulses but I couldn't feel much difference at first with the pulsions and they were much cheaper. The only slight differences were that they felt a bit “boxier” and took a bit more time to break in, the comfort wasn’t as great, and the ball didn’t feel as good when kicking it around. However, the differences WERE minor. The pulsados, however, were just a little too cheap if you get what I mean. Only get the pulsados if you are really desperate and can't afford anything else.

And btw because I didn’t know whether to put this comment in performance or comfort, here it goes. Predators are probably the lightest pair of boots I’ve tried on to this day. I couldn’t fit into the vapours so I wouldn’t know of them but the predators are very light and you can barely feel them there.

my take on the vapors when i first saw them was that they were just another boot that would be a bit flimsy and somewhat fruity to me... but when i bought my first pair my view was quite changed... my first pair was the black and surf blue vapors and i was shocked at how perfect the shoe was for me. my previous pair of boots (lunar manias) were good but could clearly not compare at all with the vapors. my first impression when i put them on was .... i do have a shoe on, right? i then checked, and i, in fact, did. i played a handful of practices in them and found my feet seemingly moved more freely and could have more room for expression in them. in the first game with them i scored from half and another on an individual run. after about a year and a half and 24 goals later they eventually wore out. as incredible as this sounds i had to get a new pair so naturally i bought 2 pairs... the vapor k's in black and the vapor II's in navy... i am further in my efforts so see what these boots can do and to this date i have yet to be let down. I am proud to say that i am somewhat of a boot collector and these boots will go down iin history as one of the all time greats..

during my break in time i had a minimal, and i emphasize minimal, time of blisters with them. but they did not bother me one bit. on a comfort level after they are broken in they are extremly great on your feet...if you have the feet for them. the lightness of the boot only enhances your foots feel in them... your touch is great in the boots bc they are so much more closer to the ball since the upper is made of thin nikeskin. as well as the incredible technology like the nike form and frame on the fg and the nikesnap on the sg.

the nike vapors have improved the way boots will be made in the future and will begin a revolution, overall, in the production of light boots...

- asthetics
Many people were against the spider web design on the punjab colour when they first came out. In my opinion they look really nice and innovative. For me there is no problem with the design. - 4.5 / 5
- value
The boot in England cost £100 from Pro Direct Soccer. Since the F50+ is a top quality boot it is actually I think a really good price since the vapors and the predators are a bit more. 4.5 / 5
- comfort
These boots fit like a glove. They have a really snug fit and are not as tight as the original F50's. They are much easier to actually get onto your foot which wasn't the case with the original ones. The leather on them is extremely soft, so much so that after a while it starts to get quite creased. However this is not a bad thing, as they will take up the shape of your foot. The heel bit is also really comfortable, so no problems in terms of blisters. 4.5 / 5
- performance
These boots perform really well, they possibly a midway between the predators and pulses since they are fairly light, yet they are still comfortable and are good for shooting. I had to get used to crossing with them since I used to wear the vapors which feel different, but after a few hours they were really nice. 4 / 5
- durablity
Have had them for a few months now and no problems in terms of durability. However the punjab blue ones do tend to turn a very dark colour after a while and almost look like they have been blacked out. 5 / 5
- Overall
A great boot. My only comment is that I find it so strange that Duff and so many other players including Robben (who has the F50 originals with the F50+ colours which is a little trick Adidas use to pretend that he wears the new version) still wear the old F50. Why is this? Nobody does this other models for example the predator or the vapor.

Ejtek:

Aesthetics – 8/10
The F50+ has 2 types of material surrounding the foot. The front portion of which the lace cover is situated, is made of ULT-K leather which is calf leather treated to perform like the more popular kangaroo leather. The rest of the boot is made with a high abrasion textile which is said to provide ultimate protection against water as seen in its earlier model the F50. The laces, as mentioned before, are covered with an innovative lace cover to give a cleaner, more precise kicking surface and shot on the ball.

Value – 8/10
The boot market these days is filled with over the top priced boots from a range of brands. The F50+’s retail price is £99.99 and would seem a bit steep but when compared to the top of the line boots from Adidas such as the Predator Pulse (RRP £119.99) and the Predator Absolute (RRP £119.99), the boots seem to be well priced for this quality boot.

Comfort – 8/10
The F50+ sticks to your foot like a second sock. Although seeming almost too tight to begin with, the leather moulds to the foot over time creating an incredibly comfortable boot. I have this a 8/10 as I am sure the comfiest boot out there would feel like you had your foot wrapped in bubble wrap. These boots add a lot more protection and comfort then those of the Nike Vapor.

Performance – 9/10
The F50+ is also significantly lighter then most boots, although not as light as the Nike Vapor. Adidas, for some reason or another, decided to make the front kicking portion of the boot calf leather instead of the preferred and more popular kangaroo leather. Even though Adidas made this change they have treated the calf leather to perform like k-leather. The boots, in my opinion, still have equal touch to the k-leather boots on the market. The interchangeable insoles provided upon purchase of the boot allow you to fine-tune your football boot for the exact feel and performance desired. The boot comes with 3 Customized Interchangeable FusionFrame Insoles. With each insole the boot is easily changed to adjust your boots weight, stability, flexibility and comfort levels.

Lightweight: For maximum speed and quickness
Professional: For optimum performance
Comfort: For ultimate stability and cushioning.

Durability – 7/10
Some have complained that the toe area on the outside of the boot rips apart after a fair bit of use. I have yet to encounter this but with proper maintenance this can be avoided. The boots are quite durable and Adidas has made this evident with the high abrasion textile allowing no water to enter the boot if playing in the wet or on a muddy football pitch.

Overall – 9/10
Overall Adidas have found a great combination of a lightweight, comfortable and good looking boot in the F50+. I would not hesitate to buy these boots again as they do a world of good. The break in time takes a little bit longer then usual but once that period is over, these boots are magnificent. The value for money is terrific as we see more and more boots being very pricey. I have to say these are my favourite boots that I have bought. I would recommend these boots for a player in any position as they are very much the all round boot.

Aesthetics 5/5
The very unique, futuristic look of the f50’s are adored by many, including me. It looks very unlike any other pairs of boots out there and I think that is an attractive factor to consider. These will stand out like a shining star in a line of a hundred other boots.
Value 4.5/5
They are great boots for a price that is just. These are of course a bit cheaper than the predators but I feel that is because they deserve to be. They are still a bit expensive overall, but not too much so as to be up there with the most expensive boots which is a good thing.
Comfort 3.5/5
When I first went to the store and took my first glance at the f50’s, I was afraid these might be too narrow for me (these assumptions based solely on outer appearance). When I went to try them on I found that even for my wide feet these could fit like a dream. That is, fit like a dream when talking about for my wide feet. When the f50’s are first put onto your feet you’ll probably feel they are not too much comfortable. The have that “boxy” feel to them and need some time to break in. Another negative for the comfort factor is that back at the heels they are not at all too comfortable. Watch out for that, but after some time they’ll feel much better.
Performance 4/5
With the hidden laces and the great stud design for super traction, .good quality leather and etc. the boot performed fairly well in my opinion. I couldn’t really feel the full potential of the boot’s though because of the low comfort factor but I am pretty sure the f50’s will do superbly once broken in and moulded to one’s feet.
Durability 5/5
Very well made and designed. There aren’t much for me to critique. The only thing I am unsure of is whether these will last as well over a long period of time, but my speculations are that if well taken care of, these should last you a very long time. And if you’re young, you’ll probably out grow these before they start to fail in the durability department.

Has anyone from outside the UK ordered boots with customization from PDS?
How long did it take?
Sorry if we're not meant to ask questions in this thread.

Yeah not really but theres no better place for it. I think it says a couple weeks on the site but i wouldnt count on them being done by then. Postage to aus takes longer still. So at a guess i would say about a month.

Looking at the list of online shops (first post) there's no justsocca.com (UK)
And I'm just wondering if they're not there for a reason? (like unreliable or just bad) or have people not mentioned them?

No, just no ones really touched this thread since roque met his demise. Apparently justsocca (man thats a stupid name) didnt occur to him........

Im re-closing this thread. It was never really meant to be open for discussion. PM me if you think anything needs to be discussed.

I have re-opened this topic because I want people to add descriptions of some legitimate shops. I am busy updating the Reviews Database and I would like some work to be taken off my hands.

Please note that your posts may be deleted when this topic is re-closed and this topic shortened to one, original post with the list of shops in.

Under the shirts section of the opening post, I noticed a link to uksoccershop. If we want to keep the sites fully legitimate, this one might not belong. There have been a lot of problems on here with people not getting their orders or it taking months to receive their shirts. We've also had many members complain of fake printing. Just a thought.
