awesome job on those copas fafaf...did you put anything else on them besides the spray? like sealant or something along those lines, because i've been tempted to do something similar with some pulsions that i have lyin around

i just used the spray. ypu can only spray them if they are leather becouse the spray is falling of.

I've just got off the phone to the Adidas Performance Centre in New Zealand and they are designing me 3 pairs of Predator Absolutes so i can choose which ones I want.

The main colour is silver in all of them (I didn't know that was available until I talked to the guy)

and then trying different variations for tongue colour and trim in blue, white, black and red

Can't wait to see them! I'll post them when I get them sent to me!

I doubt they'd send you the boot itself because there may be a chance you'd not send them back. Unless they only send you the right/left boot.

Wow maybe you should learn how to wash your boots so they last longer.

My guess would be they send a CG mock up of a few different colourways. If you get boots Leighbo, can you give me the guys number...

There'd be no way that you could keep the heel detail, you could use spray paint or a marker.

materials:

ahesive film, white (coated with photo quality finish)

from fine cutting and a little bit of precise work it turns out pretty decent.

yepp it is, however the one on the left boot looks better. i think i might rip off the one on the right boot and make another. scapal might be blunt or something. (was 1 am that night )

Probably in white x2, black x2 and gold x1. Then, get some kind of stencil and scalpel from a crafts shop and cut out letters/numbers and stick them on the side of my vapors. I think it would look good, but i cant see it lasting long :/ all it takes it some water or a kick and i think the letters will fall off, has anyone tried anything like this? and how did it go? Or - what are peoples general views on this. Thanks

That link i posted about is Adhesive Vinyl and comes in white. i think thats basically what it is, and a photo quality finish means with a shiney coating im guessing

well i went down to the local stationary store and bought myself a "handy knife", aka scapal used for surgery or whatever. emo's use it to slit their wrists lol. cost me $5 for a blade and handle (looks like a pen but with a blade on the end)

then the paper you can find them at some stationary stores but i would suggest vinyl adhesive would be better. i got the adhesive film from my art teacher.

thanks for the comments everyone!.. i fixed the gunners cannon (made a new one) looks better, i'll get some pics up tonight or when i'm free. any ideas of what else i can add to my heels of the boots?.

they are actually quite adhesive so they dont crack, peel or anything, during games the ball hardly hits the top of my foot so there isnt much pressure on it. they stay on just fine.


well i dont know about rain because i use these for indoor but they cope pretty well with volleys, tackles etc.. (no slide tackles in indoor llol). surprisingly these stick very well and dont seem to come off, i guess if they were any larger they would come off more easily.

Have any one of you guys made your vapors in too another color by using an permenant marker? if so, could you upload some pics... Do you guys think it would work and that the new color will stay there, and not be worn away or something...? i think it would be cool, opinions please

I doubt it would work, it would take loads of coats and then when you play football - it would just rub off due to the surface i reckon. Im not sure how you would change the colour of them, im not good at customization - im not even sure how to put my name on the side
