i have the same problem. when i was having a goal drought they kept yelling at me for not scoring. and then i went on a goal scoring streak and they hate me because i'm scoring more than them. make up your mind!!!
don't worry about it. just play. and if you don't like it find another club.
yea i try not to worry about it because its only 1 season i am gonna be with them. but it sucks when we do partner drills and nobody wants to play with me and i gotta use the coach
^That's horrible..

Sounds so mean cause you seem like such a funny person so I don't see why they would be that rude.
My guess would be basically what Owen4ever said, maybe they're mad about you being lead scorer, and you shouldn't take it too personally cause if you weren't lead scorer maybe they'd be mad at the person who was

That's really messed up. Do they just not like you period or was there a fallout earlier on thatc provoked all this?

I had the same problem they used to moan at me for doing my tricks and if I gave away a pass which I did rarely they would have a massive go so in the end I quit and joined another team you go training to enjoy football not to be shouted at.
well i'm not that much of a leading scorer

we only played 1 game....no i dont think anything provoked this but i think its because i'm muslim....i'm not the guy who always will blame people that they are racist because they hate me...because they all talk about bombing iraq and stuff.........i'm in a icky situation here......

Well if they don't like you just because you are Muslim, then pardon my French, but they can go f*** themselves and you should join another team, no point in you hanging around with people like that.

Ooo.. so that's why you keep saying you live in Red Neck.. South Carolina (right?) Don't worry, I live in a place called Calgary.. full of hidden racism, but I guess we all must learn to deal with it. Just a shame to see it in such a beautiful sport of course
yea thats why i say red nek

.......but people here take it as a compliment

Uhhmm.. yes, because that's a great thing for someone to call you....?
Well.. I dunno, there's two definitions of it that I know of, but neither one is good haha.
Just wondering though, are you the only minority on your team?
yep!........the only brown guy on the squad. doesnt bother me at all though. it just gets to me when its partner drills and i'm stuck alone and coach says boca123 go juggle
^Oh I see. Maybe you guys shouldn't have an odd numbered team then.. Well, I never really experienced anything like that, just for a while when I was younger, me and my brother would be the only minorities on any team or clubs or whatever, but the times changed and more people started moving here so I don't notice it.. as much anymore.
yea.......awesome avatar.......its almost as cool as mine

Baahh.. I'm going to have nightmares after staring at your ava by the way...

Gah, I hate crap like that. Luckily it's becoming less common these days.

Your coach doesn't even be your partner? S/he just tells you to juggle...? I'm glad you're moving teams next season. Try to find a good club that shows respect but has a good coach. Development is very important and it's good to see you haven't quit because of that

If you really think they're angry at you for the reasons you stated then I think it would be a good decision if you quit the team.
I don't even think you should continue going, becaus ethey are only going to damage your confidence, and it gets worse the longer you stay with them.
Improve your skills by yourself an prepare for a better next year.

If this is the case go to another team. If you are the leading goal scorer and go to a better team they will get screwed over. That will show them that you demand respect and hopefully you can rub it in their faces and show them exactly how the team functions without your prescence. If you can't afford to go to another team/or for travel reasons, then talk to your captain about it (unless you're the captain) or bring it up with your coach/arrange a meeting. Either way you are helping yourself by sorting out the problems or leaving the team that seems to be in turmoil.
pops wont let me quit.....he says if i can get through this season (which i've seem to made A LOT WORSE) than it really is i'll be a better athlete when i come away from it
good ol pops!

Haha, don't worry I made my old club seeming to be a lot worse then it really was and literally f****** up our season (not all my fault but I was a great distraction)... between my suspension, asking publically what club I should go to, and people constantly blaming me for things I had no part in it wasn't the prettiest season let's just say that. I'm way happier now with high school and looking forward to a great club season.

Fu*k them mate my old team Juniour hammers where bad for some reason the coach never really like me, I played the best in training and worked hard yet he put me in the bench. Then one of my best friends in the team got the ball blasted on his face on purpose it was really bad in that team, . I decided to leave and played for a team in the same league now we are in a higher league then them

Plus our team are scouted every fridays which is cool.

Fellow muslim shabbak suggests moving clubs wud b a good decision. I know it seems that leaving would seem like these racist mother fu*kers "winning" but its the best decision.
I play for a team in an inner city were all the players bar one are either black or asian.
We are as good to the one caucasian player as we are to any other members of the squad because football is something that transcends religion, race and ethnicity and racism is wrong.

hidden racism? more like right in your face. or it's a hidden kind that's right in your face if ya know what i mean. it's like every1 makes racist jokes but every1's cool about it and it bothers me.
yea...but the team is better now....guess it was just a one day thing.....me and my boys have gone bowling.....we are good friends now....

I mean hidden as in, you're walking down the street and someone in a car will give you a dirty look, but they won't shout a racial slur out their window. That's what I mean. And where we live, it's a very conservative place, so I get what you're saying, the kids learn it from their parents, it gets passed down etc. (and yes, racist jokes bother me too, but I don't mean Dave Chappelle type racist, I mean actual racist.. there are some people here that say racist things, but don't even realise how racist they actual sound)

I thought I'd have a pop at playing on a sunday and joined my aunties team. I was an outsider, as the team had been formed like three years ago and everyone was friends. I left after only about 6-7 training sessions
