Argentina 40PTs (win all games if they don’t tie with Uruguay)
Brazil 30PTs (win, win,.. lose to a hungry Venezuela)
Ecuador 30PTs (win easy I hope) tie with chile
Colombia 24PTs (lose to Uruguay –win & Draw!)
Venezuela 24PTs (Game of Death with Brazil) the rest are easy wins
Paraguay 23PTs (Argentina will win)
Uruguay 21PTs (Might...Just Might beat Colombia)
Chile 21Pts(I see Ecuador draw with Chile)
Bolivia 16PTs (The way Peru is going,...just might be possible)
Peru 15PTs ( Anyone with a diffrent opinon with Peru?)
Paraguay better play till death if they wish to keep 4th place. Anyways, who ever makes it, my heart backs you up 100%. I don’t see Argentina losing to Paraguay after that humiliation with Brazil at the Confederation Cup. I don’t think Argentinean egos will let that happen being that the concept of being “number one” is embedded in their souls
A whole new Colombia is awaiting Germany
Uruguay is 50/50. Anything can happen
Paraguay vs Colombia … now there is an interesting game. I said it first
WE got good players awaiting to be unleashed.
David Quiroz is a good midfield kicker. The boy’s got power in the legs! Pele made midfield goals!
Jorge Guagua, He is one great defender
Ecuador has got to keep the young ones in the middle and the more experienced to pave the path for them. De la Cruz is Awesome-always defending, always pushing forward.
Cristian Lara kicks well and makes superb passes.
Delgado the Tall and Accurate
Can’t wait to see Mendez in action again
Valencia as a substitue
Reasco – all the way man

I have this feeling that this time the Australians will win it.
The only problem I see from Australia is their defence, judging from the Confed Cup, they can score alot, but they can't seem to stop getting scored on either.
And who can forget the reception they got when they went to play in Uruguay last time around... Not pretty!
Australia - Chile: Australia could win this matchup. Chile is a low scoring team these days. While in Australia, they might suffer alot under the Australian offensive pressure, but once they go play in Chile, I fear Chile will only manage 1 MAYBE 2 gols but still end up with a tie.
Australia - Colombia: It all depends on which version of Colombia plays. The Colombia of the summer qualifications was scoring like crazy with pretty tight defence, but before that and now, they are back to not scoring again.
Australia - Uruguay: Montevideo is hell to play into. The good news for Australia is that this time they will NOT take a hotel in Uruguay so they can get some sleep

and this Uruguay team is in more disarray than the last one of the WCQs for WC2002. Watch out though, Uruguay can have scoring sprees at any moment, but their defence might be very leaky at any moment. Australia needs to take advantage of that when they play in Australia and load up the aggregate there.

Interesting analysis Stroking, good to see you think the Aussies have a chance.
If we do play Uruguay again it will be alot different, i see the Aussies at least 20% better tactically, mentally and physically in all aspects of the game than last time we played them.
I don't want to play Colombia because of the fact that they conceded the least amount of goals and their goal difference is dominated by scored than conceded.
Chile is probably our best chance like you said Stroking, they are a good side but i just don't see the old Chile in them plus i think the Aussies rather take them than Uru/Colo.
I'm just happy it's not Brazil, Argentina or Ecuador. They are playing brilliantly as usual and Ecuador this qualifiying has been a suprise package.

mod can u do something to this guy, im uruguayan and im feeling discriminated for our superiotity, :-p i knew we were gonna qualify, during this world cup quialifying shit we had the worse coach in the world, thats why we los tour first games, vebezuela is a shitty team and so is peru, when we tied to the game to chile their goal was a pass with a hand, and when we tied against brazil their goal was offside, if it wasnt for the referees we would be 4th or so, the coach is also shit, we have a lot of potential. Australia is next and then world cup, and of course we gonna win.

As always, Uruguay and Argentina VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY GOOD FRIENDS, but soemthing is weird, a loot of passive of argentine defedners in recoba goal, nobody was with him and abondanzieri tried to make something maybe for dissimulate. Another thing, Argetine8 if my mind don't make me a bad play) was invict, this was the first mathc they lost.
Anyway was our faul tie vs Chile in barranquilla and don't get the points in the start of the qualify..

, maybe same for Argentina or No?????????????????????? Paragauy was reeeeeeally near to score, bad luck, but watch the match again and look how passive the argentina team in the middle of the match... maybe we can go back in the time and remember that Lopez opportunity, WCQ for Korea/Japan, too obvious that they were alliated with urugay, in front the net, and hmmm post.... they were all the time asking for colombia's result, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh colombia scores, 2 - 0, 5 minutes later, fuck uruguay goal, what a surprise...

Dude, I know we sometimes make rash predictions but are you serious?
Tell me who you think our 2 most dangerous players are and why?
I think Recoba & Forlan are Uruguays. Not only because they are the biggest name players in your team but they are both quick and have great ability to change a match in a moment of brilliance.

man, if we put estoyanoff in one wing, varela put him as another winger on the left, richard nunez as the playermaker, alvaro recoba trying to help nunez with creating the chances and we put chenge morales and zalayeta upfront, we'll prolly score 2 goals before 25 minutes.
By the way, i think viduka and kewell are ur most important players, paolo should be on viduka like white on rice, and varela should mark kewell man to man.
Why is viduka important? the man is big, heavy and could be important for counter attacking. We'll probably have u in ur own side of the pitch, so when you get the ball, you'll kick it up to him because he is strong and tall. If we mark viduka really good, that would be a lot better for us.
Kewell, he is good at dribbling, but he needs the ball, and he wont have it that much, if he gets the ball on a counter attack, it will be hard for us, most australians players know what to do with the ball and how to create chances, but they can't match the pressure we'll put on them, we'll hustle for the ball during the 90 minutes and kick and all.'

Mate, I quote 'but they can't match the pressure we'll put on them', all of the Aussies either play in the premiership or other top class leagues in the world. I think they're used to being pressured. Let's not forget that the pressure will be coming from our side too. I think it will not be anywhere near as easy as you think.
By the way, Uruguay 1st leg team announced and no Forlan!
URUGUAY coach Jorge Fossati has named his team to play Australia in the first leg of the World Cup finals-qualifying play-off in Montevideo on Sunday (AEDT).
URUGUAY: Fabian Carini (Cagliari/Ita); Carlos Diogo (Real Madrid/Spa), Diego Lopez (Cagliari/Ita), Paolo Montero (San Lorenzo/Arg), Dario Rodriguez (Schalke 04/Ger); Alvaro Recoba (Inter Milan/Ita), Diego Perez (Monaco/Fra), Pablo Garcia (Real Madrid/Spa), Marcelo Zalayeta (Juventus/Ita); Dario Silva (Portsmouth/Eng), Richard Morales (Malaga/Spa)

uruguay can buy the game? are u in primary school? oh and if ur mad because colombia is out u shouldnt hope we get out, we are south american brothers, if colombia were in our place, i would hope them luck. Also, the uruguayan soccer assosiation is really poor, we cant buy a good soccer ball and u want us to buy a game, wow. Anyways, we are going to win, oh and the pressure from the champions league, premier league cant compare to estadio centenario. Argentina lost here and brazil tied with us with one goal that the referee gave them, if we would of have fossati from the beginnign we wouldnt have lost to peru in uruguay and we wouldnt have lost to venezuela, neither to colombia in colombia, how foolish.

You won a a prize, cause i'm a primary school student, and i know that Colombia is baaaaaaad, as an small primary kids team playing football, oooh even they are betta.
