What are some good boots for wide feet? Already know i cant fit in vapors and narrow boots like that. Suggestions?
Dtunam
Try Puma and Umbro, they tend to be the best for wide feet thumbsup.gif Btw, Puma Execs are schweet!
Romeo371M
AZT 90 3 DEF, legends work cuz they mold well. umbro elite X like he said. ^^^copa's mold well to any foot type as well. and don't forget about DIADORA, those tend to be a bit wider, and VERY moldable. hope this helps.! cheers1.gif

Damn it romeo! You keep leaving me with nothing to say! Just make sure you dont get ones that are too tight. They might feel alright when you try them on but once you actually play in them they will give you hell! I have the same problem. sad.gif No matter what you get you'll probably have to wear them in heaps as well. Its a curse, i do feel good to know i'm not alone though! laugh.gif

Umbro, kelme, and Puma are the ones I reccomend the most. I am currently alternating between my Puma Kings and Kelme Masters as both are excellent boots. Puma Kings are some of the most durable cleats on the world. I have had the same pair for atleast two seasons and their still in playable shape.

EDIT:Dtunam how are your Execs, I don't know if my local soccer shop has them so can you pust a quick review?

I think you should not type in caps.

On the topic. I find that almost any high end boot will fit your foot. I guess what I'm trying to say is that it's not how wide the boot is but how it is shaped in certain places on the shoe I.E. Vapors are narrow at the toe. Besides even synthetics will stretch. I have wide feet and used to have 6 pairs of vapors. Right now I'm feeling puma's though. Especially my EXEC's. I suggest, like always, trying on a ton o fdifferent shoes at shops and stuff and if you don't like the stores price get them online.
Romeo371M
hey soccer ronnie do u have vapors?? cuz i do. and those aren't just narrow in the toe. the whole midsole is narrow. if u don't believe me take out the sockliner to a vapor and take the sockliner out of a azt 90 3. same brand, look at the difference in widths. its pretty dramatic.!

plus some people just have bad luck with boots. haha no matter what they get the shoes give them hell. not me tho. i can get what ever. never a blister or break in period. so its def ur own foot that determines what type shoes u shouild get. DUH!
Crofty
Yes, i wear t90iis and iiis and they are awesome. I can barely get vapors on my feet and when i do they hang waaaaaaay out over the edges of the outsole. So forget the stretching idea, its about more than just the upper.

Ps I had an idea! They should get like MiAdidas but with nike and in oz so i could get vaps that fit!!!!!
Im totally dreaming, but so what! laugh.gif

Pps Damn it romeo, stop boasting that you never have any problems. Its really annoying! laugh.gif
Romeo371M
so i bought a pair of boots the other day online. i had no idea about the width. but NO BLISTERS. lol mf_tongue.gif jk sorry crofty. u asked for it. hahahaha whistling.gif

New to the forum here.

Im looking to buy a pair of indoor boots, but apparently I live in "idiot world"...a place where just about every shoe store carries only basketball or baseball shoes. I got so pissed off. We have 2 sporting goods stores and they carried only one or two pair of indoor, both styles way too narrow for my feet. We have no soccer shops around here. I think my only solution is to move ranting.gif

Im in the US....my size is 10.5 and I have an E width. No shoes are made "wide". Can anyone recommend a good online shop to buy the aforementioned "wider" boots?

Thanks,
nooob

check this previous thread for some more thoughts...

and if you do have a really wide foot, i would really suggest checking out boots made for the asian market like our hummel vault collection. the asian foot is generally wider so boto s made specifically for asia will be made truly wide.

also, any leather will have more give than synthetic, so could likely accomodate more stretch, and a wider foot.

I too have really wide feet and I've been using Umbro and adidas (not the preds though). I've had a few adidas boots but I've recently bought some german made Profi Liga's and their soooo comfortable, probably cuz their made of soft leather. Like someone mentioned earlier anything made of leather has much more give and wil stretch more than synthetic.

Mizuno are pretty wide fitting. The Morelia line all seem quite broad to me, you could do a lot worse.

One company I do remember who made really wide boots were New Balance- I think they had different width versions of their shoes. But I'm not sure they make boots any more...

azt 90 2s and legends are what i have and i have EXTREMELY wide feet and both of those are great, the t90s fit instantly and my legends ave just molded after about 4 hours of wearing around the house. with either of those 2 u cant go wrong thumbsup.gif

I think the AZT90III are built more around wide feet then the vapors so they should wrok but I also agree that the puma execs are crazy cool and you should look at those too!!
jdcelconejo
Kelme Masters for sure

if u go through the process of miadidas absolute you will be able to choose the width of the boot. It comes in two sizes, normal and wider. Should be available in january or febuary.
simpleton
i think mizunos are the best

asian people generally have wider feet
assface
I have wide feet aswell. My Pulses and Kings fit perfectly. Also my avieros moulded well

I was going to say, any Puma's are supposed to be wide, the AZT3s are built wide, and anything K-leather will stretch out and get wide like the aformentioned legends and other boots similar to that.

agreed i have 3 of those cleats, the adidas pulse, legends, and the copas. the copas, they mold ot your foot, but if u have a fat foot like me, than the 3 stripes on the sides of the shoes will tear, that happened to me... legends, are good and so are the pulses, but out of all shoes i recommend the predator manias, my favorite pair of boots, ever.

copas smile.gif
