There are lots of different rules in snooker.
Firstly the table is 12ft by 6ft so the potting is so much more difficult.
Also a player has to pot a red then a colour. The colours have different values Yellow 2 points Green 3 Brown 4 Blue 5 Pink 6 and Black 7. When a player pots a red the red stays down but when he/she pots a colour it is replaced on its spot. When all the reds are gone the player must pot all the colours starting with the smallest value - yellow 2 points to the last the black 7 points.
Much more skill is required to be a very good snooker player. control of the white board through the use of side, screw, top stun etc are very important skills as is safety play.
woah, sounds really confusing to me m8. gunna have to try playing that some time.

pool is quite a good game. I use to play almost everyday but I stopped recently I haven't gotten the chance to play in the past two months or so.
The most money I've won is $25 playing straight pool(I guess that's the name since I didn't play 8 ball).
good stuff. i always go looking to win some money off some newbs but they always see the way i play and say no when i ask to play for money

btw i love 9 ball. i can completely dominate in 8 ball but i hate the fact that if i foul on the 8 ball i lose cuz that sometimes gets to me.
