Sorry dude i can't help u, BUT
'rolldeeprichard', what is ur problem? These boots are so expensive so u've got to treat em like babies! And also, Adidas's boots seem to be made to break quickly, so u do have to look after them! Honestly, why do u have to be so rude???

Mabey cause they are just boots, i have pulses and there is no point puttng all that spray on them, put this time, energy and money into practising and traing instead of worring on what your boots will look like because if you care too much you'll be afraid to go into tackles harder just to make sure your boots don't get a little dirty, concentrate on your skill which is MUCH more noticable and important, not on boots.

So I take it you play barefoot?!
It's not like he is taking away from practice time by doing this.

Besides, the leather conditioner is used to keep the leather soft and YES it is done to keep them together much longer and not crack and dry out. That causes them to rip. With comments like that you are probably someone who has never even tried on a pair of shoes over $100 much less have any knowledge about keeping boots clean and in good condition.

Tooo true, so lets all go out and buy filas!
But yes, i agree, people should spend more time playing instead of cleaning, but if u can clean ur expensive boots, and therefore get more life out of ur boots, why not?

Then if they are JUST boots, why are they $200? Obviously, Adidas expects that people to get the most out of their shoes will take care of them. I don't really care if they get dirty that's what all shoes do, but if you're going to spend that kind of money on shoes, I would take care of them.

That's what I was trying to say.

Fuck knows what's happened with this thread.
A simple answer about cleaning them properly and considering using dubbin and polish would have sufficed. Not some ridiculous argument about how boots don't matter.
True, boots don't matter a great deal when you play but money matters and not taking care of an expensive pair of boots is just a waste of money.
And what's wrong with using the word healthy? It's a perfectly good word to use because you have to do exactly that - keep the leather healthy.

Actually kangaroo leather is the highest quality leather for soccer shoes besides the goat leather puma uses. Besides he is trying to ask how to preserve them not make them nice.

It has already been answered before but anyways...... Clean it with a damp cloth and then just rub in the leather conditioner of some kind. O yeah, if you have a certain color make sure the conditioner is the right kind for the color of leather you have. To do this just use the stuff on a little spot to test it. OK?

haha well i think taking care of ur boots is very important! haha i don't really care how my boots look, as long as they are not like TOTALLY muddy or trashed. but i do take care of them. its not that its going to make u play better, but it lets u get hte most out of ur boot. this is especially nice if u spend $200, like this guy. haha then u WANT TO get the most for ur money. as far as kng leather conditioning, im sorry. i have to kng boots. but from what i hear, just like they say, clean them up a bit, with as lil water as possible so the leather doesn't soak it in. after they are fairly cleaned just put on the leather food.

Leather conditioner mate. They apparently have mink oil (bling bling, mink, geddit?) which keeps the leather nice and soft and conditioned. Just follow the instructions and you should be sweet, i think they clean them at the same time too.
But boots wont last, but they are just boots, but if you keep them well, they will also help you back on the field!

Whats wrong with cleaning your boots? You have to do something when its too cold and dark to do outside and play! It beats shit out of homework!
Anyways, if you applied them to a polygraph i bet
most people who use vaps etc wear them for looks, not comfort or performance. And also the great marketing (see elsewhere)
