I was Watching Arsenal play Newcastle on the weekend and just before the game i noticed when they where in the tunnel to come out, one of the players had the match ball in his hands. But i noticed that the ball had darker rings around it and had a black Total 90 onhe side of the ball near to where it says barcalays.

And i was just wondering have the changed the Ball? Or was it just a one off for that game? Or is it me going crazy?????

Yeh the english premier league ball has changed 2 a darker blue circle around the nike tik

I believe the reason they changed it was in order to allow the pros to see the ball better. Last season I think there were some complaining it was hard to spot when the ball was flying in the air? *shrugs*

I think its simply because it looks better. the lighter blue wasn't that class.

Yeah I saw a pic of it in Eurosport and it's like royal blue now which looks much better.

Yeah because of course that would be easy to see in bad conditions

they are using a diff ball than last season. they should use the puma balls......those are very good

Nike and the premiership just go together too well.Plus Nike makes premium balls.
