Al-Habsi hands down.. he's youn he already plays in Europe, transfered to the EPL this season and he's well built to be a Goal Keeper.
All the Others mentioned up there are good and some with hestory but I dont think they'll ever reach what Al-Habsi has done for him self.

I dont know if your refering to Al-Habsi as a unknown but if you are here's some more info about him.
In 2001, his talent was noticed by former Manchester City and Wolverhampton goalkeeper John Burridge, who encouraged him to go for a trial with English Premiership club Bolton Wanderers. Attempts for gaining a work permit proved too high, putting Al Habsi’s dream of playing in a major European league on hold.
He's 23 years old and Oman's main goalkeeper. He played in Norway for 2 seasons in club SFK Lyn and have won there league's best goalkeeper award on his 2nd season. He also won the best goalkeeper award in the last Gulf tournament. He will be moving to Bolton Wanderers in January after his contract ends with SFK Lyn.
I would like to know more about the 2 sub goalie's too if possible.

I agree 100%, and those who diss the saudi players, league and national team must have something wrong with them. the only team capable of beating the saudis are the iranians!

I know Kim-Byung-ji from south korea was great in France 98, i remember a statistic that put him as one of the best keepers in terms of shot/goals ratio. Lee Woon Jae for me though, out of the current crop, and to be honest, i've never really seen the Saudi/Iran GK's in action before.

The new china NT keeper, Lee leilei, is one short and stocky motherf*cker but the saves he can pull off are awesome

had a gr8 game against Germany, maybe not the best in Asia but great for his physique.

Kawaguchi was awesome once upon a time
Lee Woon Jae was brilliant during last world cup but have seen none of him since.
My vote goes to Zeljko Kalac however. Mountain of a man, great shot stopper for such a big guy and knows how to run the rule over his defence. Should have been starting ahead of Dida for most of the season. Great bloke too.

I guess I have to eat my words. Lee Woon Jae have been nothing but brilliant this World Cup, saving dangerous shots after shots and coming to cross at the right time. He saved that crucial shot from Henry in 1 on 1 situation as well as Vieira's header and made numerous saves against Togo. Against Swiss he was stable as ever though he couldn't have done anything with the header from Sendros or the controversial goal with Frei.

Wang Dalei from china,he is young and has quite stable performance,on the other hand,he has good mental quality, though he is only a freshman for the national team, but he has the ability to make the leadership for all the defenders who have service the national for yrs.hope that he will lead our team to a higher level.though sorry about the 2007 asia cup qualification 1:0 with singapore, quite poor performance.

I quite agree with you.Wang Dalei will be a super star and he will be the best goalkeeper of Asia, but now he isn't.He is training in Inter Milan now.I hope he will become a super goalkeeper like Toldo.

Now Lee Woon-Jae is the best in Asia.

Kawaguchi oozed class at this summers tournament, and while he conceded a complete duffer vs Brazil, everything else was spot on.
