Just wanted to know becuase I just bought some pritty crappy indoor boots and I want to soften up the leather a little.
btw, they are the pulsado's indoors. I wouldn't buy crappy fg or sg cleats now would I
they were on sale for $40, and when they rang up they were $20!!!

Don't use vaseline on them - stops the leather from breathing.

What is saddle soap and where can i get it? is it just regular soap i can get from the store, or special leather food.

Dubbin does the trick for me. If the leather isn't that great though it might not soften up much.

Yea I would have to agree with metropolis2k about using Dubbin..
..but I havent heard of saddle soap before

This stuff is the best. Its called chelsea leather food and you can get it in clear or black. Softens the leather very nicely.

So you get a better touch on the ball. And also it is less likely to rip and will last longer if you condition it regularly.

I have a thing of the clear chelsea leather food pictured above and have regularly applied it to my boots after every other use. after breaking the boots in I started applying the leather food and found that my boots are actually softer than out of the package (Puma cellerator GCi's). The kind of leather I have on my boots is treated calf skin like on the F50's so the effectiveness this stuff has on K is not my expertise however i would belive that it would provide the same nourishment thus provoking similar effect onto the leather. Overall a great product if used consistantly after you have cleaned your boots, just follow that dirctions on the back of the jar and you should be fine.

is there anything that would soften synthetic leathers, I have the Nike Tiempo Natural IC's , and they're kinda giving me a hard time with breaking in
Ive tried the hot water trick, helped a little, but any idea's
