I've been wearing the nike t90 astros for 3 months now. However, about 4 weeks ago, I began having problems with my feet, my arches in my foot began to ache and a small bone in my ankle began to extrude out of its correct place. I went to the doctor's surgery a few days ago and I was told that the shoes were at the source of the problem. There were no arch supports present and this apparently leads to many problems for those with narrow thin feet like myself. Has anybody else had problems with nike boots or atros? If so, please reply. Thanks smile.gif

well first of all u said u have narrow feet m8... theres ur first problem. t 90 's are made for wider feet. also, u got turf shoes. although thats what u need to get when u play on turf, i've warned everyone that u might have mixed results if u use them for everyday wear. epsecially for prolonged periods of time. if u would have gotten indoor instead, it would have gone differently. and if u would have gotten shoes made for narrow feet, if would have been best. thats what heppened. a big company like nike isn't going to make a shoe that is BAD for u. if ur shoes give u blisters, that sux, but its not like thats going to affect ur overall health. they put a lot of time into their boots so things like that are top priority, while looks aer the last thing they work on, really. u just have to know what boots are made for what foot types and when to wear them.

I have always had blisters with my vapors and it seems everyone else i talk to has too.

thumbsup.gif hey mate...was just wondering...which part of your feet does the blister appear?
cheers...
Crofty
If you have a weird foot shape you should get it checked by a podiatrist (no idea?) and get inserts made. thumbsup.gif One of my best mates has to wear inserts in all his shoes cause he has real high arches. Otherwise if if he puts to much pressure on it his arch collapses (i dont think thats what really happens, its just what its called) and thats apparently pretty painful. sad.gif

This is mainly addressed to Crofty. You say your friend has high arches which he has to wear insoles for incase they collapse. What sorts of boots does your friend wear to help him? Foes anybody else have high or low arches which have been giving them problems. Has anybody had problems with ecillis tendons?

im thinking m8 ur gunna wanna look into a tpy eof PUMA boot. im not sure hhow they are with arch suppot, since most boots are FLAT on the bottom. but i know they'll help ur tendon out. for that ull need something that really grabs ur foots and provides a stable support. look into something from PUMA with POWERFRAME, it really grabs ur foot. its like made for extra support, more stability etc. somethintg that has the possibility of helping u and ur foot type.

Hey, me and my mate have the same problem, Even though I do not get any pain in my foot, my mate does.

What I got is Orthapedic soles, they are like custom soles that balance out your foot. In my example, my foot is leaning inwards, so I always walk pidgeon toed, and I carve down my shoes. But with these soles they balance you out more flat. What kinds of boot/shoe you want to get is one with a removable insole, so you can take that one out and out your one in. Or you will have a really high heel cup.

But my mate, he just cut some rubber? out and put them under the sole of his boot, in the arch part.

I have those now, and I love them. I have semi-narrow feet and high arches, but I've never been bothered by shoes. You won't regret it if you get these shoes man, they're comfy and they play well.

Um he just wears whatever shoes, when he has the inserts in them nothing worrys him. At the moment he has multiple puma ksl's but i think he just has those cause he likes them, i dont think its cause of his foot shape. shrug03.gif

hey i wear my nike securators(turfs) and i wear them everywhere and im starting to have sore heels and my ankles r hurting to... i wear vapors outdoor and i think i should use the heel cups but they r tuff to get into the shoe without it crunching up... do heel cups work good?
Romeo371M
its not so much the heel cup. its that u two are walking everywhere in TURF shoes. i still think thats the bigest problem. but hey do what u want.

I have been wearing the new version of T90 astros for around 6 months now and havent occured any problem at all with them. Maybe it is the shape of youre feet, have you had problems with any other similar make or fitting shoes in the past? maybe you should think about that.

However, this is another point that re-enhances my point about nike's poor build quality and customer service. It seems now everything has gone mass global market the buildquality of shoes have gone down, its a sad fact.

PEACE.
