I love baseball and am also from England, although i dont really follow it much, just watch a game a week, seems the white socks are going well this year, but i think its gonna be the cardinals.

A while back I would have said the Chisox, but they are in a tailspin as of late, so I will give it up to the hometown team, Red Sox!

Florida Marlins if they make it. So far the Marlins have a 100% success rate in the playoffs!
No seriously I think they have the best pitching staff in the league and if their sleeping offense would wake up (Pierre, Castillo and Lowell) They definately have a shot. Cabrera and Delgado are playing very well and their top four pitchers are just scary. Now their bullpen is coming together with Mota setting up Todd Jones who is having an amazing year.

I like the Marlins myself, but I just don't know if they could get through NLCS by going through the Cardinals or the Braves, the stronger of the 2 are the Cards, but Atlanta always has a competitive team, either way its assured to be a good series.

Well the braves dont scare me in the post season because they always choke for whatever reason. The cards are tough they just pounded us 10-5! But in the playoffs Pitching and defense are more important than hiting and in those aspects the marlins are better. However, they absolutely NEED Juan Pierre to regain a little bit of his form. Also, they need to find some power from someone other than Delgado/Cabrera. Last night was the first time in a month that someone other than those two had a homerun! And it was by a rookie taking his first big-league at bat!

Yeah it was a grand slam. He wasnt the first but the guy who did it before him was like 100 years ago. Not a bad way to start your career off.
