Any of you guys worn the Vapor FG studs on Astro, if so was the grip alright?

Am thinking of buying the MV iii's to wear on grass and astro

hey, i wore my mist blue vapor II's on astro, the grip was not so good for me, i slipped quite often as the studs got worn down rather easily so they are smooth now. also i picked up a scuff mark on the front of one of my boots while playing on astro as it is quite hard to life the ball with the toebox being slighly raised aswell. but on grass the boots are mint, nout wrong with them, its also an added bonus that i've never had a blister while wearing my vapors either . ( if i were you, i'd pick up a pair of astros to wear on the astro instead of ruining new boots aswell, i recommend the air zoom control, i have them, they are amazing.)

dont get the 2nd ones ... the are more than uncomfortable ... they are somethin like "not-wearable" ... look good but feel VERY bad

yeah the legends would be my choice out of those two, got the R10s and they are more than comfortable

i was searching about this topic but i didnt find anything, so:

last july i tried some talarias (fg) in a big sports store (size 44). i was wondering how comfortable they were...
a few weeks later i got my air zoom 90 (fg)(same prize than talarias) from my father store. i think they fit a bit more tight. but they hurted and pressed a lot and i had some problems with my feet after wearing them in a game... so i gave them back and went on playing with sg pulsions until 2 weeks ago when i got my umbro x-boot II.
well, i just want to know, if the fitting and so on with talarias is the same as air zoom 90, because im thinking about getting talarias for training etc. but now im not sure if they will press and hurt that strong, too. well there are different studs/blads and a different sole, so i hope, ull tell me, that the pressure from the talaria-sole is not the same as the pressure from the air-zoom-sole (i hope u can understand me ). |

i posted this as a new topic, but nobody couldnt help me yet. maybe here's someone, who can help me or who can give some advice

No need now I got them Today. Really quick as well I only ordered them on Monday night- less than 2 days : ) Anyway they are really good and comfortable- i played in them this afternoon. Look great too.

Hello everyone.. I didnt want to start a whole new thread about this so i'll ask in here. The other day a teammate of mine gave me a pair of legends that were too big for him. they are a bit snug on me and i was wondering if i can us that old shower trig to mold them or maybe stretch them a tiny bit. I have heard of this trick but i want to make sure that i dont ruin some good boots. THanks Everyone for your help!!!

Yeah you could use it...its worked every other time people have done it.

hmm... pouring hot water might ruin the leather.
rubbing mink oil into the leather would help to stretch.

the shower trick is known for vapors...and vapor dont have th same material as legends......so i do no if itll work....

No, it shouldn't work on vapors but should work on leather. Its been a trick used for years and years with leather boots
Its all because of the properties leather has that allow this to happen.

New Total 90 IV colourway - first non-cgi pictures.

yeah prob some colours of the new azt IV ... but no one knows if this actually will be the design of them ... just think of the pic of rooney as a gk ... there he wore two diff design versions of the new azt IV in blue ... you never know

that would be cool ... a catalogue were all new and unreleased boots are in ... and all the new colourways ... but sadly there isnt such a catalogue (as far as i know )

ah and these boots that youve shown up there do have a 3rd design ... they dont look like the ones rooney is wearing ... just look at the pics again and youll see what i mean (cant load em up now ... the servers totally down today)

maybe the lower end ones do have other designs than the higher end ones ... who knows ???

these look like mv II but they have an mv III heel counter.

They're CGI and the pics were released before the MVIIIs so they couldn't show the new design in its entirity.

yeah and this is pretty wierd ... both (left and right) boots have diff designs and if you look at the low end ones then youll see that they have a third design and if the low end ones do aswell have diff designs on left and right boot than there will be 4 diff designs ... this would be totally cool but totally wierd aswell

maybe some pics that we saw were pics of "beta version" boots... I guess the final version boot will be like the one on rooney's pic

Im Wondering how do you get scuff marks off Vapor III's? I dont know what to do and i just got my blue ones and i got a black mark on the toe
