socd4, sorry to burn you so early (this has been discussed before and you only have about 4 posts, but I don't have much either lol), but Ronaldinho doesn't need light boots to really play well, he knows that he's already fast and shoes don't really affect your speed that much. I think he would rather have good comfort and touch. He's also one of Nike's big commercial players if not the biggest and I don't think he would really give a monkeys if nike gave him vapors or t90s( he's still getting fan appreciation and money at the end of the day), like most players he cares more about performance than looks.

sheesh i hate it when people bring up the weight thing. the difference is like..3 ounces..thats SO small, and if it really does affect your game, then i suggest you lift some weights or something cuz thatsjust pathetic..these hings get on my nerves..

I'd like to point out that somtimes those ounces can make a big difference. I've been wearing vapors for 3 years but for a ruff game when I felt i need some more protection I decided to use my SG Predators from 2 generations back. The diffence was huge, I had pains in my shin, felt terrible slow and was dying by half time. Then I switched back to my vapors and it was like I had on a rocket pack.........lol
So in summary if you get too used to vapors switching to heavier shoes will make a differnce until you get use to them

the exact same thing happened to me, i switched from vapors to tiempo premiers, it was crazy like my shins hurt so bad it was the weirdist thing. Do the vap IIIs feel different from the vap IIs because of the different heel and materials etc
