WTF?!@?!? Ive played with my brand new White/Ice vapors for the first time and I have HUGE scuff marks on the side on the boot....they kinda look like MVII's....

Nope, it was a natural pitch. I thought it was just dirt until i saw that it wouldnt come out with anything ...

i havent used it on my mviiis yet but i did use them on my mviis and it worked a charm taking off some pretty bad scuffs
the mviis dont have that same shine but if i was you i would try it out
i mean yes they might not blind people when in direct sunlight but atleast there wont be a massive grey scratch across the entire length of the shoe

true. but you can use it as long as you are very careful and only do quick wipes.

What Nike mean by a clean striking zone, is that in the area of your instep and the top area of the boot, that you have a clean surface with no extra stitching or added bulk. The idea of this is to supposedly give you a cleaner shot.
hey guys ive only been able to wear my vapors in practice like 1 time in the first 3 weeks and i showered with them and my blisters are just healing. a kid on my team told me he got it so he took a hair dryer and pointed it toward the heel cup plastic and pulled it outwards with his hands (basicly widening the heel cup with a hair dryer)

wat you can also use is the very slightest bit of "Comet" on a spounge with water and soap. My mom did it on my legends which were covered in scuffs. not only did it take the scuffs off, it restored the shine of the booot a bit. It works wonders if u are careful. Iono how if it wold have dif effects on microfiber as apposed to K

Checho i have Ice MVIII and i also have the glorious scuffs that come wit them. I tried Non acetone nail polish remover and though it did take a bit of the scuff away it made the pearly sparkle turn to a dull matte white. Thank god i only used the smallest bit and it was on the instep part of the boot. So if you want non-scuffed but plain white boots then use it but for this specific colorway it will also ruin the nice sparkle which makes them so unique.

trust me jordyc, just wear them. i wore mine right away to a game and got a tiny blister on my left heel and the right heel was fine. i almost cut out the yellow heel thingy that gave me the blisters, but i wore them again the next day, and now i can wear them without any problems..
yeah it was great, i wore them to practice from 3-5 then played a college kickaround for like 1.5 hours and they were fine, it was like magic?
The non acetone does not work that well, i got my boots bout 3 weeks ago, (the ice vapors) and now they are marked everywhere. I have trained in them and played only a few games and they have lost their magic sparkle. Im planing on a darker color of vapor for my next purchse because losing the white sparkle has pissed me off too much and the non-acetone has not worked very well.

I'd just buy them with personalisation from NikeID. I know it's more expensive but they're guaranteed to be K-leather. Can't you just picture your silver boots with a French flag on the heel and silver written on the side?

hey guys, my friend has wwhite/ginger (the original vapor) and his didnt hhave that bad of scuffs and he used them all the time. is the white different between the white/ice (the ones i just bought)

on the white/ice colourway the white part is shinier.
white ice is more of a plastic feel and the other are a stiff seems thicker material
The difference between me and jordshutt is hat he actually BUYS them and I don't.
I only get boots if i can get them bizzarely cheap.

Well it's your boots that are on my mind. You MUST pictures of them all together, because i'm having trouble believing you have that many
lol why do you have trouble believign me then becuase all the boots ar in the boot thread and all pics are taken from the exact same postion so says everything doesnt it? and i have to take pics on phone cam and cant fit them all in
I guess it's not that I don't believe you, I do. I just find it astonishing that you have so many boots! Especially when you're injured.
well to be honest i was expecting to being playing again long before now but i had abit of a set back whilst i was coaching i starting pinging the ball felt okay at the time but the next day i was in so much pain and that was after i got new boots so i doubt il play again this season
