I think Ronaldinho's were supposed to be better legends, hence the name Tiempo Ronaldinho's. Nike does have that new line called First2, but right now they onle have one Women's boot, and like 3 footballs, so nothing amazing. They should make goalkeeper specific cleats, like Vapor for speed, Total 90 for power, and Legends for Touch. They now need a boot with NikeShox technology so the Keeper can jump higher and further. Just use some Basketball technology.

I thought the First2 line was solely a women's range? I doubt they'd ever do keeper-specific boots because mainly what they need is power and protection, which is exactly what the Total 90 range offers.

Well adam im gratefull h o t s p u r is sticking up for me and he got reasons right why buy supreanceys which will brake in 4 - 6 months with when i can buy at least two pairs of shifts for the same price.
I was always given me hand-me-downs and also very rarely got stuff new when i was younger. So i take care im my money and not like a little brat who who just blow it one set of boots which brakes so then he moans.
Is that ok for my reasons
Ayresome
Apr 13 2007, 04:36 PM
Firstly, calm down, it was a simple question. Secondly, if you were afraid that boots would brake within 4-6 months, there is a year warranty on them normally. Also, for the record, high end boots have better durability than lower end ones.
robocop
Apr 13 2007, 04:44 PM
^^ very true. if they do break send them back to nike, and get a nice pair for free, or coupon.
and its " break " not " brake ". the break you used is like a car brake, or a bicycle brake.

Just to get this out there...
A teammate of mine bought the white/black Ronaldinhos and brought them to our game today. As far as looks god, I would say a B-, but the k-leather on them feels so terrible!! I wouldn't waste my money on them when there are other boots that are cheaper and of a higher quality.
any idea when would the white/black tiempo ronaldinho arrive in south east asia? is it somewhere in may? thx a lot

And for the record i know how to spell break but was very tired at the time and maybe you yanks should actually stop copying our language lol. Well i can tell you now the guris are comforatble but i cannot lift the ball in any way in these boots.

Just to help out your claims a little bit nitrous, at my local sports store, they sell only low-end boots. Out of all the boots there, the Guris were by far the nicest (besides Talarias). They sold Absolados, AZ90IIIs, a couple low-end Umbros, Tiempo Mystics (which were the worst boot i've ever seen, the leather literally felt like 3-inch-thick cardboard) and Talarias. The leather on them is certainly nicer than the Tiempo Ronaldinhos, even though it's not K-leather. The tiempos feel so glossy and slippery.

i just need to put an I in your name to be NAIVE jack..... which I am far from, Next Generation Vapors? You have to be seriously trusted by Nike for them to let you test their high end boot, not to mention we havent spotted any pro's using them (unlike the Lasers with Rio, or the New ABs with Van Bommel)
Vapors with lace cover would be too Lotto Gravity-esque...

there is a reason i asked people who had actually seen the new vaps because u obviously dont know what ur talking about
Nancy10
Apr 15 2007, 06:28 PM
the fact that you have a deal with nike doesnt mean you are going to be getting next generation boots, IF YOU DID NOT KNOW, Nike prefers their boot testers to not be very mainstream, and have a variety of players test their boots in different settings, after all the boots are properly tested then they are given to pros so they can give their input.
You want to be an asshole take it somewhere else

um excuse u but u were the one being an ass whole from the start and no u dont know what u are talking about because i have had it confirmed on another board that they are the new vaps so shut ur mouth
and u dont have to be trusted the players on this team got deals w nike because they were invited to a very prestijous tourney and there was a nike tent set up and they were handing out lasers to anyone who wore a size 9 aqnd this was way before most people even knew what the laser was

Thanks o'connor 16, yes you are right matey the ronaldinhos high end version is cr@p as when i went to pick up my guri i felt them. It feels like when a leather jacket has been soacked in water how ronnie can control a ball in these is unbelieveable unless his pair has the guri leather. I was so shocked how comfy they are

Apr 16 2007, 04:32 PM
TBH, the whole ronaldinho boots fiasco borders insanity
even the guris are much much much better quality than the high-end version, which has maybe the hardest leather I've ever seen, worse than even the worst calfskin leather
I really hope the upper softens x1000 after a few wearings, if not that's the biggest scam I've ever seen in my life
guris and brasileiro are alright, great value for sure
