Don't like the new Total 90's at all! They look like some cheap rip-off boot from the new Umbro boots, such as the Elite X Lite. I Reckon I'll be going to Adidas for boots in 2006.

The greens look weird..... i cant believe there woud really be a green shoe! The R9 chrome/green ones are ok tho.

Any 1 know if these are already out because all my local sports shops dont have them

The air zoom total series have always had radical designs. I hated the AZT 3 first edition, the ones with the big 90 in a circle. I only got the 2nd edition ones (in black/white) and they were great.

I have to say the series include some of the most comfortable synthetic boots ever produced. However, AZT 4 looks plain ugly and I hope the real thing actually appears better.

i liked the 90 2 and three, both versions, since i saw them. like instantly, the new ones on the other hand, i really don't like. at all. actually i like the colros, thats a nice blue, but its ugly on the boot. maybe other versions will look nicer, and nikes marketing skills, their string point, will help, but as of right NOW i don't like them.

the total 90 II's were, for me, the best looking boots I've ever seen. They very very pleasing on the eye. I didn't like the III's look from the moment I saw them and same goes for the IV.

i like the look of the 3's, both versions, better than the way the 2's look. however, everyone knows the 2's are only 10000X better!

hey guys i just want to add something bout the azt90iii's.
i use to wear them tight but now i've loosen the laces a lil and felt it was much more confortable than it used to be. gives a much better feel.
laces too tight or too loose aint nice, but when u've got that sweetspot where its not too tight nor loose, it just feels very very good.

I think the AZT 3s have a very flat/wide profile, so those guys with narrow feet will not like the fit.

One of the things I do not like about the AZT 4 design is a seperate piece in the middle as a tongue. The tongueless feature of AZT 3 was great, IMO.

You gotta remember that the one we have is the cheap version. The t90ii had a seperate tounge.

No it didn't, I think you misunderstood.... the tongue on AZT 2 wasn't a seperate piece at the middle (ie unlike boots like Predator, Puma Kings), rather was folded over from one end of the upper.

i know what ur saying, it took me a minute or so but ya i know what ur saying. all i must add is... HAHAHAHA CROFTY WAS WRONG!!!!! haha anyways ya ur right, the tounge on the azt 90 2 was part of the upper, that was nikes attempt at trying to eliminate all those internal layers. for example. u have a standard lacing soccer shoe, like the copas. u have the upper, which is on the left and right side of the tounge. u all get the pic? THEN u have the tounge, which goes under both sides of the upper, and THEN fold over. thats 4 layers. lets say u keep the tounge on ur copas folded up, like u don't tie it down. thats still 3 layers. u have the 2 layers from both sides of the upper, and then u ahve a long tounge that goes under that. thats 3 peices.
now the azt 90 2 is really just an upper, and the top of the upper fold over, its not really a tounge. its only 2 pieces not three, which is supposed to creat less layers and better touch. but then of course nike ruins that idea by making the boot synthetic. haha. jk the azt 90 2 is one of the greatest nike boots ever. but ya CROFTY WAS WRONG. lol ^^^^^^^^^

No smartasses you're all wrong. The nike total 90 ii (the cheap version) has a seperate tounge in the middle. Do i need to post pics? Or will you just accept defeat now? Also i have a dance prepared. It will be performed shortly.

The total 90II does not have a separate tongue. I won't change until you show me some proof. Even then i won't change.

Yeah i agree with you. Well said those colors really suck. Hopefully nike can do better and i think that they will.

Guys, i bought a nike air zoom total 90 III..
Red and silver edition.

Is it me or the boot has no shooting power what so ever, i can curve with it very well and passing the ball isn't a problem. but for a straight drive power shot it doesn't work so good.

are they too big?

umm i love boots..if i didnt i wouldnt spend time hassling over vapors or legends or posting in here 60% of the time..

but boots can't effect how you play THAT much!

maybe straight drive power shot is of a higher difficulty skill!
take some practise shots and u'll get use to the boots!

Trust me it's not that i can't do it, it's one of my strengths with shit boots or normal shoes, but with the III it seems harder...

And no they not too big lol.

i don't get it. those are supposed to be the best boots for theose kind of shots by nike. I mean look at Robertyo Carlos. I know the strength comes mainly with his leg strength but the shoes should help out as well.

its new but the bottoms stay the same it looks goofy

yeah theres definantly vapors there man....i had trouble once when ppl said the 90s came out with different colors but i checked the next day and they were there......they really should have the bottom able to be changed...
