i was just wondering y out of all the ppl in the boot room no one works at a shop and can get pics from the books they send to the stores of the nike vapors??????or is that illegal???.....either way i hope i can work a ta soccer shop to get the lastest scoops?and i cant wait to c wat the total 90 black and gold look when they come out

Nike are in the shizzle if you ask me first the absolutes, now the tunits i can gladly say i won't be buying vapors again nor will i be buying nike football boots again 
guess nike redoes their cleat every 2 years with vapors

I had a pair of them, but mine were the "normal" colourway, with white details instead of that orange/gold colour.
They were awesome boots.

^^SO how do you know that they'r the best if you dont even have them?? And to the other guy, i wouldnt go as far as saying "i will never buy another pair of nike boots" what if adidas bakrupts tommorow and nike decides to steal the idea of adidas and bring out the most revolutionary boot, or even more realistic what if nikes next boot is loved by everyone and your the only one that doesnt have them becuase you wouldnt wanna go back on your word? Think about it.
^ That 2 hypothesis will never happen. The first one is a SF script and there will never be a boot loved by everyone... There are millions of peopels buing boots so it's kinda hard to satisfy all of them... but yes I agree, never say never Dervish although i like u're mentalty

Well they should be, thats what a newer BETTER more updated model should do
The Henry ad on the nikefootball site does a great job of breaking the boot down, I think it's effective for convincing people to buy it.

I'm not sure but I don't think they were meant to be lightweight boots, I think they just pioneered them as the first synthetic boot that everyone wanted to wear, then the Total 90's were released (another synthetic boot) so I think they needed to remarket the Mercurials. They obviously remarketed them as the lightest boot known to man, now eclipsed by the Puma V1's obviously, but it's still known as a light boot today.

No, the original mercurials were supposded to be lightweight. I used to have this poster-y ad thing where ronaldo is being chased by some dude whos right behind him, then you fold the poster out and hes way behind. The tagline was something about "Opportunity goes to the one who gets there first". These were the original black and white ones, even before the silver/blue. Man i wish i still had that, it would have huge retro value.

i wish nike and other boot makers would make more classic colour boots like those legends rather than all of the flashy colours although i do like some of the new colours

Well nike and others cater for all types Modern and classic, theres tones of modern colours because its cheaper to colour arteficial material than leathe ri exspect.
I like both so im happy either way
me personally i like flashy boots. especiialy gold and white.reds nice too.

Im really pissed off with nike for making a design thats not only crappy but looking a little bit like the 90 3's.
I think the ones rooney was wearing a long time back really did the shoes justice, but the white/red colourway of the 90 4's brought it down.

On the subject of T90s, I quite like the look of the new one. Hated the current ones and loved the T90 IIs The IIIs are just too chunky for me. WIll have to see what these boots are like when they come out and I can have a wee feel at them.
