you answered your own question...your feet are used to vapors...i takes about a week or 2 to get used to new boots, wear them in practices and if you have another pair wear the other ones in a game so you have no problems in games

those diadoras are extremely sexy by the way

What does bleach do to your boots? becuase I was thinking about getting the konstrukt 2s (in white) and maybe bleaching them or popping them in the wash every month or so.

Dec 11 2006, 10:53 PM
hey, are the Konstrukt IIs gonna be Kangaroo or just full grain leather? cause someone said "again with the full grain leather, why not kangaroo?" and last i thought, the Konstrukt Is are K-Leather.
also, that leather does not look like full grain. it looks too soft

Mmmm...the manufacturers say they're Full grain...I know which one i'm going from. Soccer.com is fairly common for having mistakes in their descriptions, often using generic details from previous, similar items. But you can check the Puma website, they're full grain mate, we've had this argument in here before, it was long and strenous so i want to avoid another one like that if possible.

Very nice konstruct 2s!!
As if I was almost tempted to buy those yellow v1s, soccer.com makes them look:

-ish
Here are some better pics which make them look half decent, but still disappointing:

I think they are full grain kangaroo leather..I'm sure Puma wouldn't put out a high end boot without k leather on it. Just vdoesn't make sense. When I felt the leather on them it was VERY soft..

Just noticed on PDS they no longer have the gold Pumas up.. they have the indoor/turf version but they dont have the studded version that was £170.
Ayresome
Dec 13 2006, 12:27 PM
That's good news for me then

maybe the tf versions aren't too popular so I will be one of very few to wear them, probably because most of their buyers will be collectors so they want studded version instead.

i still don't believe that the Execs or the Konstruckts are full grain. they might be FULL GRAIN KANGAROO but not full grain. they're some of the softest leather i've ever felt and full grain does not feel like that. also, why would a company put out two full grain boots at an expensive price? the most expensive that i've seen full grain boots is like 70 or 80. there's no way they're full grain

Theres enough websites that say they are full grain aswell.
Puma = "Ultrathin and Lightweight fullgrain leather"
Prodirect = "Upper:- Supersoft, thin and lightweight full grain leather upper" "The extremely soft full grain leather upper"
Justsocca = "Ultrathin and lightweight full grain leather"
Newitts = "UPPER: Ultra-thin, lightweight, full grain leather "
Acasports = "supersoft, thin and lightweight full grain leather upper"
footy-boots.com = "utilises a super-soft, thin and lightweight full grain leather upper"
eastbay = "Supersoft and ultrathin full-grain leather upper"
There is websites saying it is K leather and others saying it isnt.
Couldnt somebody who has a pair check for us

Actually puma.com doesn't say that and neither does prodirect and justsocca actually says leather and i cant be bothered checking all those other websites but it wasn't a good half of the websites so i don't think i'll believe the rest of them either!!! And why would you lie for, its just a pointless arguement which i already won! PS eastbay says K-leather aswell, so i'll be damned if any of those sites are actually true!!!!!
