Am I the only person who is scared of the new Umbro site? lol
Wickerman
Hells no! That site freaked the hell out of me! But I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of SX boots! Actually, I will have to, at 140 pounds, I can't afford them until they go on sale for, say, half that price?

New Puma Konstruct 2s are on JustSocca, Link:

(Sorry if trhis has already been posted)
G-Run
Yea I noticed the new Konstrukts about 3 weeks back but I dont think anyone has posted about it.

^that link doesn't work for me for some reason sad.gif in fact for me justsocca doesn't work for me at all not just that link sad.gif is it just me?
Ayresome
It's not working for me now either.

I had seen the Puma v-Konstrukt IIs a while back on footy-boots.com. I'm a fanatic about the original v-Konstrukts, they are by far my favourite pair of boots. They won't be released here in Canada for another month at least, but they've been up on prodirectsoccer for a while now, albiet in the ugly all-white colourway!

On a different topic...

I signed up to be an Umbro product tester, here's hoping! I just want to send a big thank you to everyone on this topic, so far I've learned of two fantastic sales from this topic (the Lotto Zhero Gravities and the 40 pound V1.06s on prodirectsoccer) and I learned about the opportunity to be an Umbro product tester from here as well. People on this forum and especially this topic are quite generous with information and would like to help fellow football lovers. Thank you all!

Just doin our jobs smile.gif I sent and email to Umbro inquiring about the product testing, the youngest that the site will let you say you are is 17 (I'm guessing the minimum age is 18 though). So I asked them personally, I'm 15 but I'd love to be a product tester even though there is little to no hope sad.gif

PS. It says somewhere (Maybe T&C) that they will only have something like 10 product testers in total.

I think it said a MINIMUM of 10 product testers, as in there could be more.

I think for product testing you need to play about 200 hours of football per week! plus I bet you'd have Umbro dudes following you around seeing if you are playing the hours you say you are.

That's what I call a demand! fish.gif

There isn't even 200 hours in a week, that is like insane to play that much!

LOOL Yup only like 168 hours a week! Can't even be that high because they can't expect a tester to give up there education, can they?
Wickerman
Actually the T&C states that the testers will have to use the product for a minimum of one hour. I don't imagine the other side of the spectrum is quite 200 hours.

Are these puma boots wide fit? IPB Image
Ayresome
Not at all, they're very thin, I have wide feet and I have a pair, infact I'm wearing them right now.
Wickerman
I mostly wrote a lot of bullcrap. What I wish I could say was "Because I would give my left nut for a pair of SX boots"!

How are they compared to abs?
G-Run
Jeezo...cant believe some people were taking the '200 hours a week' thing serious... basically I was saying you most likely will get picked if you play a lot of footy each week and if you're with a good team, i doubt theyd let a random boy go down to the park and kick the ball about with his mates wearing the boots then ask for feedback.

I don't think anyone was being serious, I know I wasn't.

Are they really that bad? shrug03.gif I like them!
Will Curran
It looks like the V-Konstrukt IIs are in stock (not pre-order) at soccer.com
I think it said pre-order up untill now. I'm going to stop by my local shop and see if they are in and if they are I'll pick them up!
Ayresome
I wore my v1.06 Italys for the first match today, well first time outside. They are something else, I adore them, the material is quite hard yet you get a good feel for the ball, also the synthetic is quite tacky so you can get a fair bit of dip and bend on a shot. And for all those who are smarter than the rest, who know that a boot makes the player better tongue.gif I scored 3 and got man of the match smile.gif . I think the boots must have a massive sweetspot because I hit a shot on the half-volley with the inside of my boot from near the halfway line and it dipped and swerved into the goal. Normally if I'd tried that, the ball would've ballooned up and out of the pitch tongue.gif . They are comfy as hell too, mould to your foot great, I'll write a review biggrin.gif
datstrika9
the trufs are actualy collector edition and your wearing them to play in on a regualar basis ehh ok
Chippen™
I hate people who doesn't wear there boots just because they are a limited edition!! Take no shit, AH02!
Ayresome
Haha, you could collect them, but I have little to no patience so I am not waiting for them to rise in value smile.gif

And thanks Chippen laugh.gif

I heard about it through a family friend who's a rep for adidas. Strangely he didn't offer to set me up with adidas testing, but I'm not sure that it exists in the US.

More on topic - generally how long do Konstructs last? I'm considering picking up a pair on sale (the old silver with a white heel and blue stripe), but I hate paying much for a boot that won't last very long.
Ayresome
It lasts for ages, good tough leather and I've only heard good things about the chance that it'll seperate from sole, I've never heard it happen.

The heel unit is unbrakeable tongue.gif, well it's f'in tough smile.gif
Wave17
Was just looking around on soccer.com and saw the Lotto Leggendas. does anyone own these? I heard they are light just like the vapors and have really soft k leather! Anyone know the sizing between lottos compared to those of predators?
G-Run
a friend of mine has the black FG Leggendas and yes theyre very light and very nice looking.
