I really hate the red grass v1s, the cat on the instep looks awful with the lines across, i liked it simple with the outline, sorry liskey, I disagreed with everything you said

I would be surprised if those Black/black/blue V1 k's were actually released. When you've already released black/black/black and black/black/red colourways of the same boot, it just seems so un-creative as liskey said. I agree with adam though, not a fan at all of the red grass/silver V1

Hey Guys, I'm going to buy Puma exec's, I've tried them once and they fitted my foot good, Can someone tell me how they are and stuff?
smithxi
Apr 12 2007, 01:47 PM
I've never had them, but I think they're a nice shoe, and high quality, and last a long time.

Apr 12 2007, 01:58 PM
no they dont last a long time i reccomend getting a size smaller mine really did stretch go half a size smaller or a full depends how tight you like it there real light and comfortable but the tounge is annoying everytime you kick the ball it will come up and out of the little strap
Trifilara
Apr 12 2007, 02:01 PM
Hmm,That's not good if that happens, Are the V1's same width as the Exec's?
Ayresome
Apr 12 2007, 02:04 PM
No, v1s are thin and execs are a bit wide.
Trifilara
Apr 12 2007, 02:07 PM
Ok, but about the tounge,is it really that bad?
smithxi
Apr 12 2007, 02:22 PM
Switching topics here, why did they make the V1.06 so pointy? Does anyone really have feet that shape? It fits great, but is a little hard to get on, which isn't a huge problem, it's the lightest shoe on the market, but why the odd shaped toe box?
Giordano e lie
Apr 12 2007, 02:42 PM
should i get the v1.06 or the v-konstrukt cant try either boot on but i have had execs and puma king top di before so same fit?
smithxi
Apr 12 2007, 02:47 PM
i would get the v1 over the konstructs
Red Carbon
Apr 12 2007, 03:41 PM
I've got a pair of v-Konstrukts on their way right this moment, but i'm also planning on getting the white/orange v1's when they come out. You've probably got to ask yourself this question: do I want a light pair of boots which offer little protection or ones that are heavier yet are very protective.

Trifilara! i have te puma king exec in black.. they are the softest most comfort boots i have ever had.... they give a amazing touch, and i have never ever expirienced that the tounge fall out of the strap. imo you should absolutly go for exec, perfect boot

Go a 1/2 size smaller in the shinkens and they should be spot on.

pretty random, but wow what a day...i just got finished with ankle surgery a few months ago so im finally abloe to get some touches on the ball again...i started off with my legends and they felt awwwwwful. I had no power on the ball...the touch wasn't bad but the power on my shots were awful and they felt so bulky that i couldn't get under the ball. then half way through i thought screw this let me put on some actual good boots...i slipped on my lotto zhero gravities and i swear i must have gotten ten times better in those ten seconds of putting them on. my shot was soo hard and my touch was still the same, but i was hitting the top and bottom corner every time no problem and my long ball was perfect they're soo...uhh...not bulky?...that they were perfect for long balls, hard shots, and everything else i looove them...i've gotten v1s and legends after my gravities and i always end up going back to them they're incredible. i recommend them to everyone whos reading this.

they stretch, but i bought them the same size i by all my other boots...when i first got them i freaked out cuz it took me an hour to get them on...but after that i just slipped them on and off and had no problem with them slipping during the game...they suck to your foot its incredible.
Red Carbon
Apr 13 2007, 05:50 PM
But would they be okay if you have really wide feet?
socd4

it doesn't matter i have the widest feet you've ever seen, but they're wrap around your feet like a sock and they stretch so you'll be fine.

i examined some X boots in sportsworld the other day, and i was quite impressed with the michelin strips. they seemed more 'grippy' then predator vamps.

Yeah, they certainly do grip well. I just could never buy a pair of mismatching boots with 'Michelin' written on them. The whole "Story of 'O'"- style commercial put me off aswell.

wow wow hold on. Those x-boots are weird MILK. They certainly look different to mine lol, where's the fold over tongue? and the michellin logo? Those look more like the SX boots (without the "S" boot, if you know what i mean)
Also with the grippy strips on the instep, they look all pretty and glossy when they're new, after one of two matches they lose their gloss and now, I've used mine for 4 matches (in 5 days) and a training session and some of it are starting to come off
