Last week I had a game and it was on astrograss(synthetic grass) and a boy in my team was going to wear the Umbro SX HG(metal tips though) and when the ref was checking our boots he wouldn't allow the boy to play with metal studs...the boy then tried to explain but because the ref was clueless about modern boots he made him change them!

Those SX boots look like they're made from a different material to other SX boots. They are also known as SX Ultra's.

They almost look like they're covered in the Laser 'webbing'.

If they were i would imagine one boot would be blackout and the other would be red/blue/black.

It says on that box, if you zoom in, that the turfs are £30. I'm guessing the boot would cost about £60/£70 but I didn't really look.

Also, i'm becoming transfixed by these Shinkens. I can't stop looking at them. This last day, whenever i've come back into my house from being out one of the first things i've done is go to pds and sit there looking at them for a while. they are just so...mesmerising, simply beautiful. The red/grey bio-panel on the white pair looks unbelievable.

man umbro is just hitting the nail on the head the xboot 3 i saw them tonite at my substate game they look good and i dont think they are very heavy either

hey, ive had my x boot 3 for about 2 and a half months... alrready falling apart. They are not very comfortable, and even though the touch on them is unlike anything else in the world, the boot was overall very cheap. they may look really sick, but the x boot 3 is not well-put-together, and if you get them ,you will see your boots falling apart very quickly

I completely disagree, I use my x boots quite frequently and they hold up very well and they are comfy, I don't know what there is to complain about.

i have the x-boot 3's and i find them quite comfortable, but i noticed mine are falling apart quickly too, and i have only ad them one season...they r also narrower than the past x-boots...but i really think they r a great lightweight boot, just needs better durability and width, IMO
