a fairly cheap but comfortable boot (if thats what your looking for) is the puma king exec. my only misgiving with the v 3.06s is that one of my friends had them, and they came apart in a couple weeks because the upper was hotglued to the outsole.

okay now that i know you are in the UK i dont know what the shipping is like but id go for these, the v1.06K's its an american shop but they are lower so ud prolly get them with shipping for about the PDS price of the v3.06's

i just bought asics lethal boots from prodirectsoccer...the white ones...too lazy to post a link...i have getting boots from market giants like adidas and nike so i usually go for lotto or randoms...so i decided to try asics..they're comfy...pretty light...and because i have such a bad ankle they should provide a lot of protection along with speed and comfort...you should check it out if you get the chance its on pds they look nice as hell i'll give u a review when i get them!...btw does everyone else have this new weird version of the forum where u can only see the individual posts instead of the entire one...its pretty annoying...hope its not just me.

I prefer the original ones to be honest, they're a lot more classy. Either go full out poncy boots or stay classy, don't just dip your toe in.

Hmm, I don't like the look of the leather when they are new, it's too glossy and rubbery imo. It looks better with wear.

I'm really disappointed in my V1-06 Turfs

They feel great, look great and are really comfortable to wear, but if you play on a sanded astro pitch then you've got no chance.

Had my first chance to use them tonight and played on a fairly heavily sanded astro pitch - the pumas couldn't cope with it. I must have slipped over about ten times, there is literally no grip from them.

I think it must be the really close knit studs/dimples in the sole which makes the sand just clog up in there. Other boots with a less 'busy' sole let the sand fall back out, but after ten minutes in the pumas they were completely clogged up, making them the slippiest things ever.

I'm gutted about this as they seemed great, but I just can't use them again without the fear of breaking my leg every time I try and change direction. I think I'll still keep them, they might work well indoor as long as the sole doesn't mark the floor, but as far as astro pitches go they're out. Time to go back to the trusty copa mundials I think.

Adam, you bought the blackout konstrukts? My brother who's down from uni rang PDS to ask if they were available for immediate delivery, and they said nah, that they would be available towards the end of the month, and that they were updating the website today. So dunno, maybe give PDS a call or something.

Notice the ... in the middle. The board has shortened it and the actual link when it is supposed to just the text and not the link.

I understand why it doesn't work, I was just telling him so he can correct it and post it properly so that the board doesn't shorten it.

Does anyone know what the difference is between Mizuno Morellia and the Mizuno Morellia Pro Japan version? They're both K-leather with the same design and stud config, but the Japans have "Made In Japan" on the tongue. Is there anything that warrants the increase in price?



Looking at the pictures, the sole is ever so slightly different on the Japan ones, it also says in the description that they are hand made in Japan. I wonder whether that makes them worth another 20 dubloons.

They just sent me an email saying they will dispatched at the end of the month. Really pissed off, one of the reasons I didn't go for the Nike IDs was because of the wait and it's about 4 weeks for these boots and they aren't even personalised. If I didn't love them so much I would complain.

PDS annoy me, a guy on the phone said they quite often put "in stock" on the site to attract people in even though they haven't got stock for weeks. I'd use someone else but they just carry such a range of gear, they win for that and I keep going back.

Best thing to do these days is only order over the phone and check stock at the same time, don't trust the website.
