In the new Eurosport they had pics of the Pums V1.08 Trainer L. It was a leather version that was gray.

The top pumas look just horrible, but I really like the blackout konstruct's.

I went to a local sportsshop today and they had already some puma v1.08s. So I tried them out and I have to admit that they felt so bad compared to v1.06s. Altough i think that the durability is better in these. Because they have added some rubber in the 'weak spots'.

well that means theres and up side and a down side but not every1 fits the same so maybe they are alright

I have the v1.08, and for me they have to be the second most comfortable boots that i have ever worn (the first being the Umbro Speciali). I highly recommend them.

hows the bit of plastic at the front of the boot? ive heard that it makes it harder to chip. also are they like the same fit as the v1.06?

Is there any info on other colorways to be released in the v1.08? They released several different ones in the trainer. Will they coordinate the new colorways with the trainers? BTW the white/blue/gold trainers are very clean. Hope they come in the fg.

All those colourways look amazing to me, apart from the last ones. The look of the v1.08s are really growing on me

I think that they look amazing and they look comfy. I had the X Boot 3s and they were some of the best boots I'd worn, amazing touch, light, comfy. I suggest you buy they, they're quality.

my friend has a pair of those umbro and i have worn them many times before. They are NOT comfortable at all, the toe area is very small and since the synthetic material is very stiff, they dont "break" in that well.. yes they are light, but if your looking for light cleats just get vapors, they are wayyy more confortable than these.

To be honest i havnt even noticed it was there. I had the 06 but never played in them (returned them after hearing horror stories about durability), but i can say when i first tried the 06 on they felt great where as with the 08 they took a bit of breaking in. I dont know if this means they are less comfy than the 06, but like i say they are one of the comfyest boots ive ever worn. On the tag it said they were leather, but to me they feel as if they have been treated with something as they were extremely stiff.

For those who wear Puma Kings, make sure you get the ones with a non removable insole and made in romania to get the best issue of Puma Kings, sometimes billed as Puma King 2001.

The ones made after this are poorer quality, quilted vamp is too padded and poorly made and outside is poor as well.
