how is the durability of the puma v1.08 as in do they tear easily?

So when are these new Puma Kings due out in the retail market? I'm dying to find a new pair of boots

well v1.08's are a smaller fit so you want to go up a half or full size. for example my vapor IV's are 10.5 and my legends are 11, but I wear a 11.5 in V1.08's

but also i recommend the v3.08...for some reason i find myself playing in v3's more than v1's cuz the leather feels better.

Puma is really doin well right now with the v1's and konstrukts and now the re-intro of the kings

Yeah I could see those things growing on me pretty quick but the only thing I dont like about them is that they look pretty wide.

I take it no one knows when the new re-vamped Puma Kings will be hitting the streets?

Those have been on ebay for a couple of months now, in fact a member of SP already bought some from there.

Yup thats me I actually really like them. I prefer them over my MVIV, considering selling them now. That how much I like the V1.08s

can somebody who owns v1.08 tell me if they are comfy because they are lighter than vapors and i like the design, i owned v1.06 they were great exept the durability.

Those boots have a release date of May 15, so I don't think anyone could have purchased them (Save from Ebay), but I would love to hear from anyone who tested them (i don't even know if diadora has a program like that).

Love diadora's style, but never fit quite right. I'm waiting for the new Puma King XL!!!

look pretty nice i think but i don't get y they always put an italian flag on their boots its not like nike puts american flags on theirs and adidas german ones that is probably the only thing i don't like about them...black and gold look great together imo

i think its a tradition thing. diadoras pretty closely linked to italy, and its probably part of their marketing. italys one of the places where top of the line boots are manufactured and "if this boot has an italian flag on it then it must be from italy which means it must be good"

I agree with smudge, I assume it's a national Pride thing. And the fact that if shoes are made in Italy they are assumed to be of the best quality.

I hate what reebok did to the sprintfits, it was a huge step back in my opinion. I like the diadoras a lot though, considered getin some a while back, but I just stuck with Nike.

i like the new sprintfit II's i think it looks better with the tounge and touge strap

i dont see why rbk dont just change there production boots because they obviously arent great if they change them especially for him.

we got the black and gold ones in work the other day. i'm very surprised at how soft the leather actually is. they're really comfortable too! i might get a pair in the summer if i start playing a bit more again

probably because they will lose some of the marketing points (i.e. asimetrical laces)

what i like about the new diadoras ist that they are more light than the ones before, i might get them, am thinkin about the new diadoras, adipures or the new v1.08 X RAY, but am pulling more towards the XRAYS....

If anyone watched Soccer AM just now they showed the boots that Henry will be wearing soon. They were Sprintfit IIs all white with a red RBK logo on the side and a red RBK logo on the tongue - they looked very smart indeed.

So I wore my King execs for the first time today. A couple things: 1) They're extremely comfortable and the leather is amongst the softest I've worn; it molds to your foot immediately. 2) I can tell there's some dirt already starting to build up between the sole and the upper, so I doubt if they'll last me the whole season. Can anyone tell me about Puma's return policy? ie. if the sole separates can I return them to them for a new pair?

yea its same as nike or adidas you can return them,i had to return my king execs last year after 2 months same problem as you,though i did it through the shop i bought them from n got some copas

King execs are great though, i tried my mates for a match and they were actually really light too.

Yeah the k-leather on those is ridiculously thin and soft

Concord's boots really have impressed me, I love almost all of their designs.
