I saw some cleats in a catalogue today called Lotto Zero Gravity. They looked kinda like the Vapor, with fg/sg in one cleat. The special thing about these was the fact that there is no lacing what so ever. They were up for a May 06 release i think(might be June). I was wondring if anybody else had heard about these? and if you could give me som more information about these.

this is not just to you, but for everyone talking about how dirty the V1's get and wanting to know how you clean them.....use whitener? my friend has them in astros and they get fairly dirty while playing but to clean em, he just adds whitener and they are as good as new. sounds kinda simple but it works

damn, noone is talking about umbro boots since january. and it seems, that x-boot ii doesnt get advertisement, it deserves. (for me) the fitting is one of the best (never had a shoe, that fits that nice) and the design and developement made a huge jump fro the first version. the leather is also awesome. i would compare it almost to the king exec or pred. abs. - leather. i hope, some guys will find in here and give their opinion.

i couldnt play with them yet, because the ground conditions arent that good, so we just played on hard ground and therefor i wont use them...

hey about the X boot. When I was looking at the pictures it seems that where the "plastic" (for lack of a better word and my knowledge) and the leather meet at the front side of the boot (just above the blades) is really low. Inside the red circle.

I know theses aren't the X boots but just that same area. But it seems to me that it could rip or tear easily. Have u had problems from the leather coming off the "plastic"

But even custom made. The lacing is on the side. How would that work. He would have to cut the top and re-adjust the lacing. But then it wouldn't really be V1s.

You think its a tongue on top, or could it just possibly how there laces look tied from the camera?

Nah there's definately a tounge...you can see the elastic strap to keep the tounge down like on Predators.

But to me it also kinda looks like he tied the laces under the sole of the shoe. If it was a tongue you'd think he'd put the elastice more towards to toe of the shoe.

i think its absolutely useless i mean common, the lace system is small enough on v1's, they put it on predators casue the lacing takes up space and it runs along the front of the boot, thats the most redicolous thing i've ever seen on any soccer boot!

Do the V1s let water thru them and become heavy when its wet.

I have both the firm ground and soft ground v1's and they definitely do not allow water to pass through. It appears like there is a two layer membrane. The oustide will absorb mosture but some how it does not make it to the inside

v1s are sounding more and more awsome!!

I had the v1's in white and they did get pretty dirty. However, a good scrub with a brush with this foaming shoe cleaner i had really made them look nice again. And to top it off, i used one of those tide bleach pens, and they almost looked new!

I also noticed that just using them on a wet field would clean them up some. Granted if the field was muddy also they would get dirtier, but when i would play on turf fields during the rain, after i would notice they looked rather clean compared to before.

About the bleach pen: I would just apply some then scrub the boot with a wet brush. Then rinse, and then dry off with a clean rag. What i noticed also was that because there still was some leftover bleach in the material, the following morning after i let them air dry they would be even whiter due to the residual bleach that was working over night. Hope that helps!

hey i found some more colour ways of the revolution X umbro boots i hink they a rip off of the v1s personally!!!!

theyre not a rip off of the v1..theyre just ugly.

I think they could look really nice if they were all black with silver highlight.

I recon they look great, could have changed the X at the front and make it a bit less noticable but i like em, they'r different. and i dont see the resemblence with the v1

its just the x-300, but i think the colorway will also be available as x-boot

so, i like the whole black and and the white/dark-blue x-boot. but as i can tell u, the white is very hard to clean. i have the white-gold ones and just after one match it has a green touch... -.-

i like this colorway. its easy to clean i think (black soleplate wont get as dirty as the lighten one of the former black one does...)...[this weekend i could use my x-boots for the first time and the white has already a green touch...-.-]
well, its on my wishlist hope that they'll get cheaper very soon. so i could buy them for next summer or winter-season...
