i am considering purchasing the Hummel Men's Silver Anniversary FG since they have been marked down to only $50 on eastbay. How do you rate these boots as far as durability and comfort??? are they good boots to choose?

hey i have the silver anniversarys and they are so sweet. Very comfortable and they have held up well even though ive only had them for 2 months. You should definately get them. The leather is really soft and they are comfortable to run in.

there is a silver/navy one coming out on general release, an independent sports store should be able to order them now providing they are a registered puma dealer.. its a bit confusing really! probably will be out in big stores in november or january, can't be certain tho!

hey anybody can give reviews on puma king execs please ?? im feel like getting them ... Are they 1)comfortable 2)durable 3)decent ball feel ... well these are my priorities for boots which im looking to purchase ... So reviews anybody ??

1) they are very, very comfortable!
2) the sole isn't glued very well to the shoe, other then that i guess they're quite durable.
3) they have a very good ball feel, but be sure to buy exactley your size. (you can even buy a smaller pair then you'll usually wear, cus they will form to your foot perfectly.

i can't really find anything bad to say about execs. i'd like them even lighter though

yeh ditto on the durability i had to send my first pair back cos the sole came away from the shoe - i seriously advise getting the fg not sg version as well - the stud placement on the sg is a bit odd and doesnt give great arch support - also get a 1/2 size or more smaller than usual and wear them in the shower to mould them - works a treat!

-How do the Puma Icana's compare to the KSL's and Cellerators?When they were not old, were they a top model boot?
-How is the fit comparing to KSL's

And what is the difference between these two icanas?Which is newer or better?

The top ones are newer and heaps better. They're pumas lightweight, stripped back kinda boot. They're still a current model, the new colours are on pumas website but nowhere has the in stock.

i've used the bottom ones, and if u paid retail for those, that would suck. i mean they were alright, but not good enough considering the msrp was about as pricey as legeds. the top ones, just like crofty said, are TONS better. the only thing i didn't really like on bothis this... check out the heel studs, see how far in the heel they are? if u have REALLY sensitive feet u'll prob feel that pressure. im not saying its that bad, but i don't like the idea of having half my foot suspended without any support, u know. thats all i can say tho.

I was thinking of getting nomis boots in wet grip versoin as i have heard they are more durable.
Could somebody please give me a review on their nomis wet grip?

Puma King Exec Superlite White/Gold/Blue FG on pds

Actually thinking of getting those but does anyone know if they are any good?
Im currently playing on Legends but they are my mates and about a size to big but havent had the time to pick up new ones, but i would make time for these

definetly get the execs theyre quality i do mention that i did prefer my predator manias but the are still well good

The execs are quality boots, and be sure to buy them 1/2 or 1 size smaller cause they stretch a ton. They will mould to your feet pretty well. But i heard that the leather is quite 'weak'. However nothing happened to mine yet.

So when i buy they should be a tight fit? Does the hot water trick work on these?

Yeah they should be a tight fit so they can stretch and mould to your foot.

And i dont recommend the hot water trick because it might hurt the leather. A way to break them in is to wear them to your sleep. But that would obviously be uncomfortable.

Yeah, they are made out of an ultra light, thin synthetic upper, carbon fibre soleplate, and are reportedly lighter than vapors... i've posted pics of both the red and white version in this topic somewhere near the front

Hi, do you think $60 is a good price for a pair of BRAND NEW hummel silver anniversary???? What is the sizing like on the hummels??? Is it bigger than nike or are they small for the size? Plz someone help me?

The hummel Silver Anniversary fits pretty close to Nike sizing. $60 is a great deal. I know there have been other members who have previously discussed/purchased the boots and think there was actualyl a full review by someone a little while ago. search the threads and Im sure you'll find some more info.

i got mine for $50 haha... Its still a good deal, i love my anniversarys... they are basically regular sized whatever you wear in your regular shoes get that size

why is that ejtek? are they better made?

One of my mates that plays soccer at school let me take a few shots with them on...If i played soccer id buy them for sure.
They're light, but not as light as vapors and the touch on them is magnifico! Not to mention the comfort factor. The leather is quite soft aswell.

You can't go wrong with either... The anniversarys have rubber things like predators and the tommasons don't. Both boots are all really soft leather... I would just pick what ones you think look the coolest. They are both great though...

HOWEVER, the leather is weak played just for 2 hrs and it seems old any tips to maintain it good? i dont wanna look old with it..LOL

get the leather wet then mould it to your feet - seems to work fine for mine - did u get the superlite ones?

getting it WET? like wiping it with wet cloth surface? and then tuck it in?hmm..i'lll try...tanX! superlite? no idea...just KING EXEC IT..indoor
